Hello @sarawgeek,
This usually happens when there are HTML tags in the form that are not properly paired and closed. When you get the chance, please double-check the pages and make sure that each tag that need to be closed have their closing tag.
In case you need further help, could you please drop us a line through our contact page?
From there, our support team will be able to take a closer look at your request.
Thanks!

Hi @vakerbab,
Currently, this feature is not available in the Lite version.
However, you should be able to do this in the paid version through conditional notifications.
In case you want to know more information, could you please drop us a line through our contact page?
From there, our support team will be able to help see if WPForms could be a good fit for what you’re looking to do here. Thanks!
Hello @wesleyj,
We currently do not have a built-in way to hide the guide text for fields and we also do not have a repository of classes and IDs used in WPForms so the best option would be to use the code inspector of the dev tools to get the correct ID/class.
We also have this tutorial you can check out to get started on styling WPForms here.
But specifically for the length limit text, you can add the CSS:
.wpforms-field-limit-text { display: none !important; }Here’s a screenshot of the code inspector: https://a.supportally.com/qEnj9k
In case it helps, here’s our tutorial with the most common ways to add custom code like this.
For the most beginner-friendly option in that tutorial, I’d recommend using the Code Snippets plugin.
I hope this helps!
Hello @josephskewes,
WPForms do not have a direct integration with the hCaptcha plugin. Since this is a third party plugin, you could reach out to the plugin’s author/support team to share details of the conflict this plugin seems to be causing. They’d hopefully be able to help!
In case you want to check out the built-in SPAM protection features in WPForms, please check here: https://wpforms.com/how-to-build-spam-free-wordpress-contact-forms-the-ultimate-guide/
I hope this helps.
Hi @leipsyart,
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with email delivery.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can check that your form notification settings are configured correctly by following our tutorial.
If your notification settings are correct, the issue is likely because the emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
To resolve email delivery issues like this, you can configure a SMTP plugin on your site so that emails are sent as authenticated. We have an article with a list of recommended SMTP options and links to their setup tutorials.
I hope this helps!
Hello @rubenvankempen,
You’re welcome. Usually, setting up a good mailer using the SMTP fixes the email deliverability issue since it makes the emails that go out your site authenticated.
I hope one of those SMTP options sort the issue out.

Hello @vilanova,
My apologies for forgetting to mention that the code from the dev doc will only work for the Pro (paid) version of WPForms. That is because entries are not stored in the Lite version.
I hope this clarifies it.
Thank you.
