  • This is interesting considering a couple of days ago my site got blocked by HostGator for going over cpu space so they told me to install W3tc instead of WP Supercache and when I made the switch my account was instantly restored.

I wrote about it here: Forbidden Error Tells Which Cache Plugin Is Better

Now I haven’t noticed any malicious files;however, I should add that I have Cloudfare activated as well for extra security and speed..

@lekiend, so how did you come across that attack and what types of things were happening, also what plugin or security measures did you switch to after deleting W3tc?

Hey I actually have a solution to this one and it is posted on The MarketSecrets Blog!!!!

    Hope this helps…

What if posts are no longer in admin and phpMyAdmin says:

    SHOW INDEX FROM wp_posts ;

    MySQL said:

#1194 – Table ‘wp_posts’ is marked as crashed and should be repaired

How do I make the repairs???

These methods did not help me either…all this is greatly hindering my whole business which my family depends on!

The index -ciphersearch.com- just dissappeared on its own without me doing any type of editing in cpanel. It greatly make me think someone(s) is attacking my site. My other blog -marketsecrets.biz- mysteriously removed all posts on its own without me logging in to any cpanel or wp admin.

    What’s going on???

I’m having this same problem and cannot find any help??? I’ve tried deleting plugins, tried renaming plugins, tried reuploading index.php as suggested, etc. Here’s what I get when entering my url -ciphersearch.com- which was working fine 48 hours ago:

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ciphersearch.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
    ——————————————————————————–
    Apache/1.3.37 Server at http://www.ciphersearch.com Port 80

My error log shows the following same message over and over:
[Mon May 5 10:15:53 2008] [error] [client 71.40.70.2] Premature end of script headers: /home/infopage/public_html/index.php

When is there going to be an answer for this as I see many have this problem??? I switched to WP because its supposed to be a blogger’s “premeir content management system”…but all I keep getting is a bunch of errors. If it’s not one thing it’s another.
