Hi @mvo09,
Just a heads-up that yesterday, we’ve released NGG 3.26 that should fix the issue.
Thanks for your patience
You may want to reach to your provider for more details on what is happening but an unstable internet connection can definitely cause the requests to fail.
Hi @fractalcosmo,
Could you please let us know more details regarding your environment like the device that you use, the browser, OS and the internet connection’s stability ( for the last, please use a service allowing to see the ping results )?
Also, I am wondering if you are using Wi-Fi or the Mobile Data for your mobile device? If you are using Mobile Data that may mean your wired connection isn’t stable enough to consistently load the images on desktop.
Just as a heads-up, we’ve navigated quite a while and tried to open images in lightbox mode from different galleries and different pages but we never could replicate the issue on our desktops for your site.
Hi @laetitia-godet,
I’m sorry – could you please upload the video directly for us to preview it directly instead of it being archived?
Thanks
Hi @mvo09 ,
Could you please let us know if you have Elementor active?
NGG seem to have a conflict with it that’s causing the IGW to stuck while loading. This issue is going to be resolved in the upcoming NGG update but in the meantime, you can temporarily switch to PHP 7.4 and that should temporarily resolve the problem.- This reply was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by Imagely.
Caching can be from browser, hosting and site side ( via a plugin ). If using a hosting or site side caching service that’s caching the entire page, it’d require manually clearing the cache before being able to see the changes made to that page.
If you aren’t using any caching plugins or services, you may want to check for a conflict on the site next time when/if you’ll encounter this issue again by temporarily deactivating the other plugins excepting NextGen Gallery and switching to a theme from the Twenty series.
Hi @laetitia-godet,
This is not an issue we could replicate. Could you please let us know what editor/builder are you using and if this issue is replicable while using the default WP Gutenberg builder creating a new post for this purpose?
There’s no such a setting that’d allow disabling the
"Set NextGen Featured Image"option at this time.If you have have used NGG Featured Images from the far past, you may want to access
"NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Miscellaneous"and press"Update legacy page featured images".Posting here for everyone else.
Our developers have confirmed this one to be a legit conflict that’s going to be resolved in the upcoming NGG update.
Well, the album display type always expects a preview image so setting it as “no image” isn’t a solution as it would just try to load an non-existing preview image.
If you don’t mind, please submit this as a report here: https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/ and our support team will have a direct look at the problem.
Thanks
Hi @schmeed,
NextGen doesn’t require deactivating/reactivating the plugin to display the new uploaded images. Perhaps there was some hard page caching preventing the new changed from showing up.
Hi @melissalowe,
You’ll need to access the gallery from
"Dashboard -> NextGen Gallery -> Manage Galleries", select the duplicated images, choose"Delete images"from the"Bulk Actions"and press"Apply".Hi @vitezslav69,
Thanks for creating a direct support ticket for us. We’ll take it from there.
Hi @4d8a9s4d56as,
Thank you very much for your report. We were able to replicate the pagination problem. We have forwarded it for the dev team. I’m sure we’ll have it resolved into one of the upcoming updates.
In the meantime, you can downgrade to NGG 3.23 ( downloading it from here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/advanced/ ) then re-installing the one from you site’s
“Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload Plugin -> Choose file"( with the files’ replacement when being asked )Hi @gregl7,

Hi @asm08,
First of all, I’d check for a conflict:
1) Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery and Easy Fancybox
2) Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
3) If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could conflict with your current theme.- This reply was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by Imagely.
