overlapping images and header problem

    Hi, I updated a few plugins, my theme and went from php 7.3 to 7.4. Now the plugin isn’t working righ. When I click on an image from the gallery it opens the image twice and the second image now opens above the header in PC and like a background image in smartphones (and the close button doesn’t work in the latter).

    I have Easy FancyBox plugin active and Elementor free version (never have a problem before), I read that I have to deactivate Elementor’s lightbox because it may cause problems so I did it but the problem persist.

    Also now my tumbnails does’t have the same size and I can’t make it work

    Unrelated problem: “ignore thumbnail settings” option on caused 5xx error on my site the three times I tried it

    (I purged all my caches but I made a lot of option changes to see if I could resolve this and now appears differents problem so I can´t be sure if it is just this but either way this plugin is making my gallerys act bad)

    Hi @asm08,

    That’s correct. Both NGG’s SimpleLightbox and Fancybox will trigger once clicking on a thumbnail so you may want to deactivate Easy Fancybox plugin or deactivate NGG’s lightbox from "NextGen Gallery -> Other Options -> Lightbox Effects" by selecting "None" for "What lightbox would you like to use?" then press "Save Options"

    Hi, I am just using Easy Fancybox plugin, both Elementor’s and NGG’s lightbox are deactivated (NGG’s lightbox never was active) but the problems persist

    Oh, I see. One of the lightboxes comes from the theme itself. You may want to check with the theme support to see how that one can be dsabled.

    Thank you! I disabled that scrip and now almost all the problems have been resolved. The problem that still happens (never happened before) is that when I am in any page except the first one of the gallery and click on the image instead of opening the lightbox it opens the image full page without any caption or option so I can’t navigate or even close the image. The only way is to go back and it takes me to the first page of the gally 8even if I wasn’t in that one).

    Could it have anything to do with an option of the plugin? I lost all my previous settings of this plugin so maybe this time I configurated differently and it’s causing issues?

    Hi @asm08,

    First of all, I’d check for a conflict:

    1) Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery and Easy Fancybox
    2) Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
    3) If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could conflict with your current theme.

    Hi,

    I disabled the AJAX pagination in the basic thumbnail’s option and that fixed the problem
