Hi @noellesteegs,
We hope that you wouldn’t mind reaching out to us directly at https://www.imagely.com/report-bug/
Thanks
Hi @robodrago,
Thanks for giving that a try. We’ve re-opened the ticket so let’s take the discussion from there.
Thanks. Could you please additionally let us know if you only got this error logged once or whether it appears periodically in the log and how often?
We’ll try to check with the dev team to see what may have caused it then we’ll get back to you.
Let’s also try accessing any gallery ( that’s failing to load ) from “NextGen Gallery -> Manage Galleries” and press “Save Changes” without doing any changes then try accessing it via the album construction again in frontend to see if that’ll help.
Thanks for your reply. First of all, let’s re-install NextGen Gallery plugin then also test for a conflict by temporarily deactivating the other plugins ( excepting NextGen Gallery ) and switching to a Twenty series theme.
Hi @tankgreen,
We never heard back from you regarding the question we’ve asked before: Are they displayed as broken thumbnails or not displaying at all.
Not being able to see the thumbs even as broken items, is definitely due to caching. You can add https://mysite.com/?1 at the end of your URL to force your browser serve a non-cached version of the page.

Hi @robodrago,
Could you please let us know what PHP version do you use for your site and what are the steps to replicate it?

Hi @mariogroleau ,
This looks like a false-positive error/detection in the ModSecurity module on your server. Usually, images’ titles containing single quotes can trigger it. You can either ensure that none of your images from the gallery contain single quotes or whitelist the rule.
The rule causing it is rule number 77229500 or 229500, you need to ask your hosting company to remove that rule or create an exception, that is an old rule that dates back to NextGen version 2.x years ago and the issue was fixed back then.
Please let us know how it went.
Hi @sten1977 ,
Sounds like a file consistency problem within NextGen Gallery plugin’s folder so let’s delete nextgen-gallery plugin folder by FTP then install it new to see if that resolves the issue.
What gallery display type do you use? Are they displayed as broken thumbnails or not displaying at all. This can be caching related if you can’t even see it as a broken image.

Hi @tankgreen,
Could you please let us know what image format are you trying to upload and what’s the resolution of the image? Perhaps try lowering the image’s resolution the upload it again to see if that’ll work.
