Hi,
Based on your screenshot, it’s this post
http://terapiesshanti.com/activitats/ruta-catara-y-reconexion-con-maria-magdalena-19/This post does not have a featured image or any image in the post content, so Facebook is picking up a random image on this post.
In this case, please add a featured image or some images in your site content.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Limit # commentsHi Sam,
Thank you for contacting us.
You can find the options for your needs in the following sections:
- https://codex.wordpress.org/Comments_in_WordPress#Comment_Display – Break comments into Pages with _____top level comments per Page and the _____ Page displayed by default
- https://codex.wordpress.org/Comments_in_WordPress#Turning_on_Comments_for_a_Single_Post_or_Page
However, this is the general WordPress issues so I am marking this resolved for Jetpack 🙂
In the case, you have any other Jetpack issue, please start a new thread here.

Hi,
The WordPress Cron is enabled by default. Instead of how to enable it, we need to make sure it’s not disabled.
Have you tried to install https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-crontrol/ to see any possible issue?
If there is no specific issue, at this point, I’d like to run check more with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening. Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

Hi Anthony,
First, great to hear that you can reconnect your site.
Sorry for this experience. You can always disconnect your site by deactivating the Jetpack plugin as well.

Hi,
I am seeing a blank page when visiting your site http://cld.wthms.co/OkU5eI
You may check this issue with your hosting provider first.
I tried activating the plugin but couldn’t find it,I tried installing new one from WordPress.com it says “Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.”
There are a number of reasons that an automatic update could fail. Jetpack is a large plugin, with many modules and language files. This can cause issues with some servers when using the automatic update.
Could you please try manually reinstalling Jetpack? To do so, download the Jetpack plugin here:
http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/jetpack.latest-stable.zip
Then, log in to your site via FTP, and delete the existing Jetpack plugin folder. You should then be able to reinstall the plugin manually by following the instructions here:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Manual_Plugin_Installation
I would strongly recommend that you make a complete backup of your website before trying this.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any questions.
Hi,
By default, the WP Cron feature is enabled.
In this case, the WP Cron feature on the site here was disabled, which is the cause.
Have you checked my suggestions above? Have you found anything?
Hi,
Thank you for contacting us.
There is no option to force it.
The first thing is to check and make sure that your site URLs in WP Admin -> Settings -> General are “http”.
To troubleshoot the issue further, could you please post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Photon QueryHi Mark,
I notice that all my background images are NOT picked up by Photon – they still retain the original path. Is this expected behaviour?
Could you please post your site URL here, so I can have a look?

Do photon urls ever expire or change? Can I rely on the url to stay the same
Photon URLs will not change, they will stay “forever”.
We mentioned this in https://jetpack.com/support/photon/ :No cache invalidations – currently the images are cached “forever”. If you want to “refresh” an image you will need to change the name of the image. Adding random query arguments, commonly known as cachebusters, will not work.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Comments don’t work anymoreHi,
Thanks for updating us.
Before I see you used Jetpack Comments, but you switched back to the normal WordPress comment.
Based on your info, it seems there was an issue with our Jetpack Comments feature on your site. If you’d like to use it again and the issue persists, please let us know. We’re happy to troubleshoot it.
Cheers,
Hi,
I tried enabling “Display all your gallery pictures in a cool mosaic” but I wasn’t happy with the result as it makes “random” images appear to be more important than others due to the size difference.
As you see on my testing site, there are other choices “squares and circles” for selecting columns.
However, if the gallery type is “thumbnail grid” then it does generate the <id=”gallery-{number}”>. Can you confirm if this is the same behaviour on your site please?…
I confirm this.
After reviewing this, would I be right in thinking that the gallery of type “thumbnail grid” is actually being generated by wordpress, and therefore this is not a Jetpack issue?
Yes, that’s what I wanted to say. Sorry for not being clear.
Changing the style sheets for the different classes should fix my problem. I’ll let you know…
Yes, update us when you have info.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Facebook SharingHi,
Thank you for contacting us.
As I see here, the latest versions of Jetpack 5.7 and 5.7.1 do not change anything related to the Publicize or Sharing features.
https://jetpack.com/category/releases/Currently, I am checking your post at https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/. However, there was a 302 redirection issue. http://cld.wthms.co/0D3lkz
This is probably from your server settings or a plugin.
I’ve scraped it again, it looks better. But there is still an issue with the image. http://cld.wthms.co/Y8Lx5w
Provided og:image URL, https://i2.wp.com/projectoadamastor.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/O-Futuro-Ă -Janela.jpg?fit=1200%2C569 encountered an unknown error.
It looks like you’re using a non-ASCII character –
Ăin your image URL, then Facebook can not crawl it.At this point, I suggest trying another image without this character.
Cheers,
Hi Martin,
It looks like this is a continuation here
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/display-portfolio-project-type-with-custom-template/Both of your questions are not Jetpack issues. They’re the general WordPress customizations.
I know this is easily done for basic WordPress archives, but are there conditionals to filter the Jetpack portfolio to change the title from:
Project Type: Project One Name
…to
Project One Name
I am seeing this the same result with the
taxonomy-jetpack-portfolio-type.phpfile.In my code, it’s
the_archive_title( '<h1 class="page-title">', '</h1>' );.If you take a look at the the_archive_title() and get_the_archive_title() functions, you can see how you can edit this.
1 – You can use the
get_the_archive_titlefilter to modify.
2 – You can replace
fromthe_archive_title( '<h1 class="page-title">', '</h1>' );to
echo '<h1 class="page-title">' . single_term_title( '', false ) . '</h1>';For the second item, I would also like to “get” the project type name (title) and insert it into a different area of the archive layout (the top banner area of the page). Is there code somewhere that I can use?
See the 2nd option above, it’s the https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/single_term_title
I am marking this topic as resolved since it’s not really a Jetpack issue.
Cheers,
