Hi Netlon
I am a novice 🙂 I have followed your steps below:
1. Create a text file named php.ini – Done in note pad
2. Write this code — memory=20MB – copied this in to it and saved the file
3. Save the file – done
4. Upload the php.ini to your blog directory under /wp-admin/ folder – This is the bit I have an issue with as I can not access my admin page, ive tried typing it in the url…. so im not sure how to upload this file please help 🙂
I Have exactley the same problem, when i tried to install the wp e commerce plugin, same error “‘500 Server Error’ (on /wp-admin/) ” I cant login to my admin to de install this plugin 🙁
Where did you access your FTP file? my hosting company is Fasthost and they wont help me ……. any suggestions please 🙂 ( keep it simple though as in a novice ) thanks x
Ive Just installed the WP E Commerce Plugin and now i get a internal 500 server error, do you think ” Try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. ” would help?
Thanks 🙂
