In reply to: [WooCommerce] Use a Block-Editor page as Shop pageHi Shameem,
thanks for your quick response. I already have a child-theme active for some other smaller adaptions on my theme. But I unfortunately don’t get it out how to change template parts.
I am using the theme “OnePress” which seems not to be a block theme I think. In the WordPress backend I don’t find “Edit Templates” or similar.
There is a woocommerce.php file there but nothing more:
https://themes.svn.wordpress.org/onepress/2.3.6/woocommerce.phpSorry, I am completely lost currently which file I need to copy over to my child theme and where I need to click then in the dashboard to open the file in the block editor to change the design.
Do you have any further advice? π
Thanks and kind regards

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Block Cookie if user has not consentHi again,
I have just seen, that Stripe as default payment method in WooPayments sets also two Cookies “__stripe_mid” and “__stripe_sid”.
The internet says, that this is used for fraud protection and is necessary to enable credit card transactions.
So I think they need to be categorized as “Necessary” cookie and do not need a further consent or what do you mean?Kind regards

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Block Cookie if user has not consentHi Zubair,
thanks for your quick response. I have already checked this cookieyes link upfront, but unfortunately no further details are provided how to block specific cookies if the user has not consent.
I just searched around a little bit in the further documentation of CookieYes and can see, that you can indeed block scripts there. For example for Google Analytics the following pattern is added for blocking:
“google-analytics.com|googletagmanager.com/gtag/js”As WooCommerce is not opening external sites I would expect, that I can simply add the JS name of the underlying script which sets the cookie.
Is there any dedicated JS which sets the cookie when I open the site? Then I would just try out to set it to the block list to see if it shows up further.
Thanks and kind regards
GreendroidThank you very much for your support!
Hi rpetersen,
thanks for your quick answer. Are you sure? I checked your link and I would put the cookie into this category:
Preferences cookies β Also known as βfunctionality cookies,β these cookies allow a website to remember choices you have made in the past, like what language you prefer, what region you would like weather reports for, or what your user name and password are so you can automatically log in.
As the webpage remembers your choice to close the banner? This cookie expires (in my case) after 7 days, so it really saves the user preference.
Kind regards
GreendroidHi,
I have disabled the plugin for now, as it is not working anyhow.
Hopefully there is an answer and a bugfix from the developer so I can activate it again.Kind regards
GreendroidHi Bill,
I would bet I tried exactly that and it didn’t work. But with your shortcode it works now.
Thank you very much for the quick help!
Kind regards
GreendroidHi Adam,
thanks for the link. Thats exactly what I mean.
Then lets see if and when this gets implemented πKind regards
GreendroidHi James,
thanks for your help. Unfortunately I don’t mean the SiteKit dashboard which I can open from the menue sidepanel but I mean the widget on the WordPress dashboard.
So when you log into your WordPress site a dashboard shows up with the recent activtities, last published blogs, etc…
As a admin I also see a quick summary of the SiteKit data and can then go deeper by clicking on the SiteKit dashboard in the menue.
My question is, if I can make this small SiteKit summary on the WordPress dashboard (not the SiteKit dashboard!) also available for other non-admin users? Thanks and kind regards

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] GooglePageSpeedInsights complains about loading timeGood evening Marko,
thanks for the further explanations!
I just tried out the “defer” setting in minify and noticed, that then our lightroom picture plugin is not properly working anymore. This is also not really speeding up the webpage, Google is still complaining. I expect, that this is then because of the mentioned css files. However, currently we have the Free version, so no further enhancements can be made… Google need to be satisfied with the current state for now π
Thanks and kind regards
GreendroidGood evening,
thanks for the further explanations. I am already in contact with the plugin support plugin doing the minify and caching on my webpage. I just wanted to make sure, that your loaded JS script is doing what it is intended to and that I have not misconfigured anything.
Kind regards
GreendroidHi rpetersen,

GreendroidHi mkscripts,
thanks for your help, I was not aware, that this is a WordPress-wide setting.
I have added this to my functions.php, lets see if that works πKind regards
GreendroidHi,
interestingly this does not happen currently. All mails are sent successfully. Perhaps a temporary issue by some providers? Don’t know.
I will come back to you, when the issue happens again.Kind regards
