    Good evening,

I recently added your cookie banner to our webpage and it works like a charm, thanks for that. Unfortunately, since I have added the plugin Googles PageSpeedInsights webpage complains, that I shall remove resources that block rendering, as the loading time decreased significantly. As I can see there cdn-cookieyes.com loads 34,9 KiB in 1.070 ms from …7f81d84…/script.js(cdn-cookieyes.com)

Can you tell me what this is? Why is it necessary on my webpage and how I can speed up or block the loading when it is not absolutely necessary?

    Thanks and kind regards

    Greendroid

    Hi @greendroid,

    Greetings from CookieYes!

Due to the plugin’s control over the scripts and iframes on the website, there will inevitably be a slight speed drop.

To stop third-party scripts from running prior to consent, the plugin uses Javascript and hence it will be considered a render-blocking script.

As we analysed the page load of your site using Lighthouse, some other factors also have impact on the performance of your site.

    Good evening,

thanks for the further explanations. I am already in contact with the plugin support plugin doing the minify and caching on my webpage. I just wanted to make sure, that your loaded JS script is doing what it is intended to and that I have not misconfigured anything.

    Kind regards
