Could it be your hosting account / file system permissions issues?
    I’d help if i could reproduce this…

Just re-tested it with the latest version of WordPress 3.5.1, latest WooCommerce update.
Activates just fine and settings are available.

Try deactivating everything and retry – sometimes other rogue plugin can cause this.

    1) I plan to add shortcode to make it happen. Cannot give ETA yet – it’s a free time project.

    2) In theory possible – of course depends where these double prices needs to appear, what format, etc. Not planning this yet.

Thanks for the kind words. Best regards,

PS: I opened a support ticket with blockchain.info service – the one that is used for bitcoin payment processing on the backend.
This is concerning the fact that their API is not performing as described.
Payment notification is sent only once, instead of once per each confirmation.
I am awaiting for reply from them – and until then merchant will have to manually adjust order status to “paid” after payment is received.

This worked before just fine and something changed at blockchain.info end.

I expect and hope for quick reply from them to deliver fix.

    You are correct.
There was a bug related to IPN callbacks for WooCommerce 2.x
I just fixed it and updated plugin (1.24).

I also communicating with blockchain.info service (used for backend processing, APIs and and payment forwarding) related to slow payment processing. Although it maybe related to small payment (the smaller the payment the longer it takes to process, unless you add fee).

More updates will be coming soon.
This current update should fix your issues.

And yes – this is log file – it lives inside of plugin repository:
    ../wp-content/plugins/bitcoin-payments-for-woocommerce/__log.php

This also added compatibility with WooCommerce 1.x and 2.x all together.

    Could you be more specific?

I wouldn’t mind to buy something to get access to dedicated forum.
After all support takes time and effort, no problem with that.

Does this dedicated forum has dedicated “woocommerce” subforum?

In reply to: WordPress membership site?

    It depends.
Memberwing membership plugin for example can be applied to any theme.

And in fact it will make your membership site well optimized for search engines. So even premium posts and pages will include free teasers for ranking and indexing.

I Suggest Memberwing plugin + Gravity forms plugin.
Memberwing allows you to create membership site with unlimited membership levels, and Gravity forms allows you to create super customizable subscription forms allowing people to pay/join your membership site and filling in any information you require them to fill.

I will try to update Jshortodes soon.
Can’t promise timing but will do as soon as possible.

The problem with *any* malware infection is that once infected – you never know where actual malware would hide.
In other words updating, removing or overwriting plugins, as well as updating (or even removing and reinstalling) the whole wordpress would not help because malware usually leaves hidden backdoor files and quite often outside of any wordpress directory structures.
Normal detection tools (like wordpress plugins) quite often would not work because today’s malware backdoor scripts are not necessarily malicious looking files, but rather legitimate scripts offering functions to plant actual malware.

The effects of malware infection is that your site becomes spammers and scammers paradise offering hidden redirects of your visitors to scammers portals usually selling porn, drugs and casinos.
Once Google detects such changes on your site – it sends you a warning and then remove your site from search engine index and all your hard earned rankings are gone for good.
So taking care of this asap is the way to go.

I personally was infected by malware 3 times. Shame on me – because I have intensive anti-virus development experience. And that happened because I was just been plain not careful with the way I maintained my websites.
After third time I decided to take matters in my own hands and with the help of custom software as well as manual analysis approach – managed to scan, find and remove not only actual malware files, but also innocent looking malware “helper” files from my server. My site has been clean since then.

It is a lots of work but if you interested – contact me as I started to offer this service on a consulting basis already.

    Check this page:
    http://www.jshortcodes.com/shortcodes/
It lists detailed specs usage for each shortcode + examples. Please note – this is free plugin – so it is supported as per developer’s available free time.
As with all good developers – they are usually busy with plenty of consulting jobs, so if you want your specific needs addressed in a timely manner – you may use the power of budget + magic of website contact form 🙂
