Hello @hirngesicht,
Good news! The issue with Bypass Adblock has been fixed, and you can use the updated version now.
These changes will also be included for everyone in the next release, version 14.16.1.
You can check out the updated version here: https://github.com/wp-statistics/wp-statistics/tree/development
Best regards,
Hi @iainpurdie,
Thanks for letting me know.
I see the refresh process has been stuck for a while, and I’m glad to help.
This usually happens when the site’s cron stops running. You can restart it by opening the link below in your browser. It may load a blank page, but that’s expected, and it will trigger the cron job:
https://yoursite.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron
After running it, wait a couple of minutes and check the Summary Totals again.
If it still doesn’t move, feel free to tell me, and I’ll help you with the next step.
Best regards,
Hi @jean-pierre-martel,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
I understand your concern, and normally the total number of visitors and visits should never be removed. The plugin may optimize old data from time to time, but even then, your overall counts should remain intact.
Please check this setting:
Statistics > Settings > Advance Options > Purge Old Data Daily
You can set it to “Never” to prevent any automatic data cleanup in the future.
At this point, the only way to recover your previous cumulative counts is to restore a backup from your hosting server, if one is available.
If you need help with anything else, I’m here to help.
Best regards,Hi there,
Since it has been a while without any updates, I’ll mark this ticket as resolved for now.
Please feel free to reply anytime if you need further help, and I’ll be here to assist.

Hi @spielo,
Thanks for pointing this out. You’re absolutely right these filters are no longer active in the latest version of WP Statistics, which is why the code doesn’t work anymore.
The
wp_statistics_reset_user_online_timefilter was removed, and at the moment there isn’t a way to extend the online timeframe through filters. If you need this functionality, feel free to request it as a feature and we’ll be happy to review it.
WP Statistics: Requests | VeronaLabsI also checked the current
OnlineModel.php. There’s no filter available for customising the timeframe. It’s currently defined as a fixed 5-minute value inside the model. If you need anything else, I’m here to help.
Best regards,
MehmetHello @gileno1990,
Thanks for sharing your feedback. I understand how useful the online users feature is, and I want to reassure you that this feature is still available in WP Statistics.
The setting for this feature was removed from the options page, but it is still enabled by default, so nothing has been disabled on your site.
To help us check what happened, could you please tell us exactly where you used to see the online users option and where it is now missing?
I’m here to help and we’ll get this working for you.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access Log on Dashboard RefreshHi Alex,
Thank you so much for sharing this. It’s incredibly thoughtful of you, and I’m sure other Slimstat users will find it helpful.
And I have to admit, I love that you had AI write the snippet.
If you have any other ideas or feedback, I’m always here and happy to help.

MehmetHi @acousticradio, and thanks for your patience.
I’m very sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Based on everything you described, the most likely cause is still that the data was aggregated for some reason, even though the setting is configured to “Keep details for 1 year.” Once aggregation happens, detailed browser information is removed and can’t be restored from inside the plugin.
There are also a few other possibilities:
• An incomplete data migration during a plugin update may have caused older detailed records to be merged or cleaned unintentionally.
• Your server’s cron or optimization tools may have run a cleanup. Some hosting providers automatically optimize MySQL tables, run scheduled cron jobs, or use tools like LiteSpeed’s auto-clean. These processes sometimes remove large or detailed tables. If the detailed browser data was removed at the server level, WP Statistics unfortunately can’t recover it.
The only realistic way to restore the lost detailed data is to revert a server-side backup. Most hosting providers keep weekly or monthly backups of your site, so your host may be able to restore the database from a point before the drop in October.
If you can reach out to your hosting provider and ask whether any automatic optimization ran in early October, or if they can restore a backup from before that date, that would be the best next step.
I’m here if you need any help checking the settings or confirming anything else.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Filter problemHi @dtornkq550,
Thanks so much for reporting this, I really appreciate you taking the time to let us know.
I understand the issue with the “Overview” filters not updating the graph, even though they work correctly in “Real-time.”
I’ve shared this with our development team so they can look into it.
I’ll keep you updated as soon as we have progress.
Thanks again for your help it truly means a lot.
Best regards,
MehmetHi @acousticradio,
Thanks for sharing the details.
I took a closer look, and I suspect the issue is related to your purge settings. You can check this under:
Statistics > Settings > Advanced Options > Automatically Aggregate Old Data.If this option is set to something like 180 days, WP Statistics will automatically aggregate older data to optimize your database. When aggregation happens, only visitor and visit counts are kept, and detailed data, including browser information, is removed. This would explain why the browser numbers suddenly decreased in October.
If you prefer to keep all detailed data without any automatic cleanup, you can set this option to Never so the plugin won’t aggregate or remove older browser stats.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Access Log on Dashboard Refresh
Hello Alex,
Thanks for your message. I’ve passed this to our team, and the task is already in the review queue.
It’s very likely a small issue. Once it’s fixed, I’ll send you a GitHub link so you can apply the hotfix right away, or you can simply wait for the next release if it’s not urgent.
Either way, I’ll make sure you receive the link as soon as it’s ready.
