Yes, it does, however, when I add a new category sidebar the only option is to place it under one of my previously named sidebars, (Footer, footer 1, footer2, home, blog, etc,.) I can not make a new sidebar nevertheless place it where I want it to go.
    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

Update: All speed tests have improved back to where they were previously. I guess they take some time to recache or something.

I would still love to know what to do with the old plugin and when an update comes out.

    Thanks again Frank

Thank you Frank, the new Beta works with Lazy Loading enabled however for whatever reason my speed tests have not completely improved (gone all the way back up since the previous version install)
I will keep this version since it seems to be stable and hope that speeds pick up when a more stable version comes out.
Lastly, should I delete the non-beta version, or simply leave it deactivated? When a new plugin update comes, which should I update and use?
    Thanks for walking me through!

Thanks Frank. However, I’m not 100% comfortable in my skills to download and install the beta zip file. If you have a tutorial walkthrough I can try and follow it otherwise I will wait until a more stable update version comes out via WordPress and try to enable lazy loading again.
    Thanks

Thanks. I did that however although it works when I uncheck Images>Lazy-loading, the speed improvements are negligible when using the plugin without lazy loading enabled. It seems that all/most of the speed improvements were coming from lazy loading as my speed scores on both GTmetrix, Pingdom and Google speed tests have all not improved back to where they were prior to disabling the Lazy loading.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks

I already use akismet and NoSpamNX spam filter. Do you prefer Bad behavior to those?

Also, the spammers are not leaving comments (yet) they are signing up for my blog through your Subscrbe2 plugin. Any anti spam measures through your sign up? maybe a captcha or something?

    Thanks Russ

Thank you. Is there a paid version that offers this functionality and/or more? I would be interested in that.

Thank you for taking the time and speaking with me,

Yes thank you. However it is unrealistic to ask people to go through all of those steps just to unsubscribe.

These extra steps are what cause many people (including myself) to click the one-click “spam” button in their email provider if it is too difficult or onerous to remove oneself from a mailing list. I would implore you to consider changing this feature or at least allowing an individual to abide by the industry standard best practices by including a link in each and every email allowing someone to opt out independently. Without having to navigate to a web site and find a form and go through these extra steps.

Yes, the form is on my web site however it is moot if they did not sign up directly (themselves) and from that browser. For instance, I signed up to receive blog notifications via Goolge Chorme yet Firefox and IE do not recognize my account.

    Thanks

    Hi mattyrob,

All of what you wrote I know already know however it not address the problem or questions I have.

If I add your email address right now to the Subscribe2 list to receive my blog posts, when I post a blog and you receive that blog post, the email in which the blog is sent to you in does not offer a “unsubscribe” or “optout” feature.

Why? And what can I do so that when I sign people up for my blog (not them) they have an opportunity down the road to unsubscribe if they want to?

    Thanks

    Hi mattyrob,
Thanks for sticking around and helping me! 🙂
You can also test this yourself by simply checking the website on a different browser in which you originally signed up for Subscribe2. For instance, if you signed up for Subscribe 2 on google Chrome browser, the browser will recognize that you have an account with Subscribe 2 and will offer you the option of unsubscribing directly from my web page on that browser. However, if you check the same web page from Firefox or a different browser there is no indication or option to Unsubscribe.

@ “You can add a link to the email that links to a page allowing people to unsubscribe but you need to create that page on your blog”

Can you point me to a “how to” page or instructions on how to do this? Or is it simply under “Templates” tab?
    Many thanks,

    Russ

    Hi mattyrob,

Are you the developer? I am not sure what a “Token” is. However, Subscribe2 has been up and running successfully on my site for several months. I had a web site consultant add it for me. My problem is when I add users/s on my end. The people that I have added have no way (to my knowledge and through experiments) to Unsubscribe from future mailing lists.

In my experiments the added user does not receive an email after I have added them to the mailing list and the email that one receives after I post a new blog post does not indicate on the bottom of the email where and/or how they may “unsubscribe” or “opt out” from future mailings.

Are we on the same page here? Thank you for trying to help.

    Hi Mattyrob,

I have no idea what you are talking about. I have logged off and on and the question still remains the same. Please clarify.

    Thanks
