In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Rebuild image structure : sooooo slow…ah, ok… so given how far through my upgrade got, is the *only* thing I need to do as follows:
Click the “Proceed now” button next to “Create new URL friendly image slugs” on the Options page?
Is there anything else I need to do to complete the upgrade to 1.7.0?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Rebuild image structure : sooooo slow…can you help, alex??
my upgrade to 1.7.0 is only partially done. the upgrade got half way through “Rebuild image structure” and didn’t do anything else.
How can I complete the remainder of the upgrade?

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Rebuild image structure : sooooo slow…It appears to have now stalled and isn’t progressing any further. It got as far as 1925 / 9864 🙁
I’ve been watching the database and it appeared to be populating the “image_slug” field. However, it hasn’t advanced past 1925 for the past 30 minutes. I therefore suspect it has stopped.
How can I run the rest of the upgrade procedure??
It has basically got as far as the first half of “Rebuild image structure”.
can you help, alex rabe??

In reply to: [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Rebuild image structure : sooooo slow…can anyone help?
30 minutes later, and it’s now up to 1750 / 9864 images… 🙁
Obviously I cannot leave my laptop on for the next 3 days to allow this to complete, so if there’s no way of speeding it up, is there a way I can start it where it left (to do a little bit each evening over the next month) off or run the queries manually?
Also, i’m concerned that if I stop this, if my internet link dies, or if my ISP’s mysql server is restarted it’ll stop working, and how will I be able to run every part of the upgrade procedure that hasn’t run yet??
I’m in a bit of an indeterminate state now… 🙁

In reply to: [wordTube] wordpress 3.0 and wordtube problemsdoes this mean on your site, wordtube works perfectly in wordpress 3.0?
if so, have you had to modify anything other than disabling “Simple Tags” plugin?
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: wordtube does not work with 3.0Have you tried disabling the Simple Tags plugin?
Someone else here found that solved the problem, and although i’ve not upgraded yet, I’ve found that Simple Tags throws taxonomy errors anyway.
Hope this helps!

In reply to: [Plugin: wordTube] WP3.0 Compatibilitydoesn’t sound good… This is the last plugin stopping me from upgrading now! lol
Let’s hope Alex has some time to upgrade it soon… do let me know if you get it working, won’t you! 🙂

In reply to: [Plugin: wordTube] cannot resize playerOK, i haven’t solved the problem, but I have discovered a workaround…
In the “wp_wordtube” database table, you will see an entry for each video. By editing the values for each entry, you can specify the resolution and whether it autostarts or not!
So… the bug seem to occur when the media is added to the database in the first place – not in the display side of it at all.

Does anyone out there know how to solve this issue? Is there a bugfix release on it’s way?

In reply to: Automatic upgrade from 2.8.3 to 2.8.4 failed – no errors givenThank you so much for that link!
I had given up on this thread, but until today was still suffering the problem – this file has made everything wonderful again!
Presumably, it’s a bug fix that will eventually find it’s way into the main release, right?

In reply to: Automatic upgrade from 2.8.3 to 2.8.4 failed – no errors givenThank you very much for your response – it is greatly appreciated! 🙂
There are no errors in the logs and the web host has apparently not changed the servers at all…
The first upgrade that failed (after 3 or 4 successful ones) was from 2.8.1 to 2.8.2 i think. I had to do that one manually. I then did the 2.8.2 to 2.8.3 upgrade manually as well because it also failed, and now the 2.8.3 to 2.8.4 upgrade is also failing.
I don’t know if the above info is relevant, but it might be…
Hope there’s something else to try!

In reply to: Automatic upgrade from 2.8.3 to 2.8.4 failed – no errors givenanybody? i really need help here if possible… surely my automatic upgrade feature isn’t broken for the rest of time, is it?
I hope someone can help, or this is going to be a depressing road of manual updates for ever more, otherwise!
Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to offer further assistance!
