    Hey Kristian,

    Just to acknowledge receiving your email and have followed up, we are looking into this while we’re prepping the next release. Thanks for being a bit patient, we will need to look into the sources structure and tweak our algorithm to sort this out. This generally happen when the site your pulling feeds from is not semantic and use some uncommon approach to insert images in their articles: this could be what Gergo just described, or the source site loading the images via JS or some kind of embedded frame….will follow up via email.

    PS: I generally reply asap WITH a solution or something that will help after investigating the issue, sometimes, 24 hours is not enough, so being patient helps, giving a bad review unfortunately doesn’t help a lot.

    Huh!? How Dare I not answer to your support request in less than 24 hours ! Holy crap! …not yet sure if I should laugh, cry or get mad.

    Workflow for the support: Easy issue and I know where it comes from–> reply with a fix suggestion.

    No idea yet wha this happen: –> Investigate and follow up with a constructive suggestion or apply a fix, or add this to the todo list.

    No time at the moment: –> Reply as soon as possible.

    Feels like someone got an answer quicker than me:–> Maybe it’s a Premium user, maybe he’s question was longer on the forum, maybe it was a simple to solve issue.

    In your case, it was a combination of all of this: Premium users ( you are a FREE user), questions up longer than you think (they receive an answer a couple of days later after posting their questions) , because we had a solution or are already working on the fix.

    My intention was not to ignore you but to take time to investigate our issue and come back with a solution/fix/answer.

    To the MOD, please to remove the “I returned to …… one that is old but actually works” , it makes the feedback feels like the whole purpose of this review was to do advertisement for that plugin and it’s unethical.

    Anyway, thanks for stopping by, I’m fast with providing help but unfortunately not yet this fast.

    To WP Mod,

    Please to Review this thread and moderate it, I don’t think it’s in the interest of anybody if emails start getting posted all over the place and I don’t think it’s legal in any western juridiction to do this without the consent of the email/copyrights holder/writer, but IANAL.

    This person has been insulting, harassing and threatening one of my team members, the very person supposed to help him from the start, and I really mean from the very first email he sent to the support channel.

    Second: 90% of what was written here is simply a lie and misrepresentation if the reality.

    Third: For privacy and legal reasons, we’re not posting anything regarding the emails here.

    Fourth: The only truth part of this (10%) , is that we’ve forwarded his threats, harassment emails and blackmailing threats after several warnings to our lawyer. IANAL so, anything else will be handle by the competent person. I’ve reviewed my team member and his email exchange and reading an email sent to a young lady with a text like: BTW, Fuck OFF ! and a message informing her that he left a 1-star bad review on wordpress with a smile of satisfaction… oh well, I guess that’s how some users behave.

    I’ve seen free users complaining for me not logging into their wordpress to help them for FREE….., and I just saw one of our free users leave a 1-star review because I dared to not answer him in less than 24 hours on a question he posted on the forum, huh!??…This is a learning process, so we are all learning from this process and improving our product and the service.

    BUT

    Getting insult and harassed is unfortunately not yet included in our premium or free service, this being said: This being a premium service issue, there’s actually no reason he should be posting it here, leave alone the fact that this is indeed unlawful in many jurisdictions. Nobody is suing anybody, he has been informed that this is illegal and could get him sued and a lawyer will review those emails, mainly for the harassment , threats, blackmailing and privacy breach. And NO, customer supports doesn’t mean you have the right to throw anything at my team members, harass and insult folks at your will and lust… we don’t plan to offer that kind of customer support anytime soon.

    Done with this and leaving it to the discretion of the MOD.

    This is just a short head up to say I received your amazing email a couple of days and dindn’dindn’t forget you, I just wanted to get back to you with something in the hand 🙂 for you to try before official release, we are hard at work so stay tuned.     Ok, Sorry couldn’t find out what’s going on with your feed, have to pass on this.

    Debugging this much more longer will take way too much of my time and it’s way more than the time I invest for the free support, that would be what I call: “Going the extra mile” , not doing this anymore due to some past bad experiences.

    Thanks for the head up redhawkssupport and sorry for the delay of my follow up,

    It looks like a css issue, would you mind using a plugin to resize your featured images to fit in the area, I suspect some featured images to be way too big for the space offered and the plugin tend to import all the raw images as they are, I wish I could recommend a specific plugin for that but I haven’t tested any of them so…..any recommendation folks !?

    We could technically do this in the backend, but each website uses different templates with different width for the content column area as well as for the featured image, and normally templates tend to resize the image to fit in, on the fly….

    I wish I could do more at the plugin end but this will bring more issues than it can solve at the moment. I will suggest to shoot the author of the theme a short note and ask if he has a patch for that.

    Yes, you are right. That’s the duplicate post protection kicking in there, we’re working on changing the duplicate post protection logic (too robust at the moment and will not even re-import deleted posts) and we will be using a different logic that should solve the issue. This being said, I’m not sure if it’s a good idea to have different post with the same url on the same site, that’s against best SEO and UX practices, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

    I however can’t guarantee the new logic will let this happen, we’re trying hard to implement best SEO and UX in the plugin from scratch, so even users who have no affinity to SEO and UX can hit the ground running just fine, the drawback: This means sometime, protecting folks from doing things that Search engines and Users don’t like–> Duplicate content (turns out to be way toooo aggressive at the moment) , “cloaking” etc…Anyway, we’re looking into this.     Hello rdAdmin,

    Thank you very much for reaching out, it’s unfortunately not allowed and not recommended by wordpress.org to help you by logging into your WP backend and NO, I wouldn’t do it either.

    I have had some really bad experiences helping people by going the extra mile, I’m speaking of some of the free version users, so I simply don’t do this anymore (take a closer look to your site, check the template, look into your feed…anything that ‘s not directly related to the plugin).

    This would have been an extra mile, so I will suggest you hire a freelancer or WordPress specialist, maybe the author of the Avada theme.

    Featured images is a feature fully supported in the premium version of the plugin. My suggestion, like I said, check a freelance board and try to hire a freelancer to do this.

    If you are however a premium user, please shoot me an email.

    Thank you vey much for your follow up:

    – I would love to see a taxonomy being added along the existing tags and categories.

    Can you please be more specific ? What exactly would you like to see added, we don’t want to overload the plugin with a bunch of stuff nobody uses, so we need to make sure people really need and use this , we determine this by the frequency of the requests for a feature

    – Plus an option to bring in the featured image without the need to upgrade to a $19/month licence.

    Would unfortunately have to pass on that one, it’s in the premium feature package.

    I was just checking this via our API and we’re having videos pulled in, If you are using the free version, the videos should be pulled in as well, so not sure what’s going on at your end. I will run a text on our devs servers and follow up with both cases: Free and Premium version results.
