Thanks a bunch for reaching out!

What we do have for taxonomy is grouping in categories and in tags (both single and multiple selection), we don’t yet support custom taxonomy or other taxonomy options but I would love to hear what you are thinking about or would love to see added? ๐Ÿ™‚

I would love to see a taxonomy being added along the existing tags and categories.
Plus an option to bring in the featured image without the need to upgrade to a $19/month licence.

    Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi,

Thank you vey much for your follow up:

    – I would love to see a taxonomy being added along the existing tags and categories.

Can you please be more specific ? What exactly would you like to see added, we don’t want to overload the plugin with a bunch of stuff nobody uses, so we need to make sure people really need and use this , we determine this by the frequency of the requests for a feature

    – Plus an option to bring in the featured image without the need to upgrade to a $19/month licence.

Would unfortunately have to pass on that one, it’s in the premium feature package.

Thanks again for your head up.

    Hi there,
With a taxonomy it would be easy to create a feed url from a source feed from within the rss importer. Which comes handy if you want to place the source feed in a widget, but keep the imported items as posts.
    EX: yoursite.com/taxonomy/feed

Anyways Feedwordpress does that, you should know it.

Taxonomy has made it to our todo list and is on the roadmap now, stay tuned.

    Hi there,

Is there a way to create a feed from a feed source name?
    Thanks

    Maximmmus,

Thank you very much for reaching out. Sorry, didn’t fully got the question, would you please elaborate ?

    Thanks,

PS: You can manually create feeds names and associate as many feeds as you wish to those feeds names, but I doubt that’s what you mean!? :-/

    Hi,

What I asked is if it is possible to create a feed from a feed source url which I have added to the rss post importer.

Here are the 2 steps involving this:

    1. add source feed url “energimyndigheten.se” to rss post importer. Feed items are coming in as posts.
    2. create feed from this source feed, with help of wordpress:
    mydomain/feedname/energimyndigheten.se/feed/

Same as you would create a feed for a category or tag.

    Hope is clear now.

    Thanks!

Ok got it now, yes. Simply create a category or a tag with the name of your source and associate it with that source, you should be good.

If you have a premium account, you should even be able to associate multiple categories/tags to 1 source… the free version will however only let you associate 1 category/tag to a source, I hope this helps. Thanks
