Facebook TeamHi @tiziyo,
Based on our check, it looks like you have two plugin setup codes installed on your website which might be conflicting with each other.
How to check?
– Right click on your website and choose view page source
– search for fb-customerchat and you will see that you have two setup codes there. We would recommend removing one of them try again on your website to see if the issue is resolved.

Facebook TeamHi @cartseg,
Thanks for the feedback. Currently, the only way to disable the guest mode is to re-run the setup flow. It saved your previous settings, so you don’t have to reconfigure other settings apart from disabling the Guest Mode.
Hi @tobbecokta,
We don’t currently have the feature on differentiating user in incognito mode. However, if you turn off guest mode, then only users that logs in aka user has has a messenger account will be able to chat with your business.

Facebook TeamHi @gimmebbtjason,
We checked your website and found that you have two chat plugin setup codes installed on your website which might be causing some conflicts and not rendering properly. Could you remove one of them and use the one from the official plugin? When you go through the setup flow in the WordPress chat plugin, the code will automatically be installed so you don’t need to manually inject/copy paste the code.
How to check?
– Right click on your website, and view page source
– Search for fb-customerchat and you will find that there are two <div> which means there are two setup codes in the same website.Regards

Facebook TeamHi,
Thanks for the feedback. In order to disable guest mode, you will have to run the plugin setup again and it will have an option for you to toggle guest mode. Guest mode session persists for 24hr or until the user end the chat.

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Chat will not appearHi @changetheword,
Thanks for the question. Based on our check, it looks like you have multiple plugin setup code installed on your website which are causing conflicts. You have installed one via the wordpress chat plugin, and the other one manually via copy pasting direct code from FB page setup tool. We would recommend removing the manual code and re-run the wordpress chat plugin setup, that should resolve your issue.

Facebook TeamDue to the variety of Chrome extensions that are available and most of them could override js/css codes, it will make it hard to isolate the root cause. If you receive reports on the certain extension that is causing an issue, let us know and we will look into it.
