Hi @elena7demon,
This support forum is for the WordPress plugin specifically, so if you’ve pasted the code manually, we might not be able to help you. In any case, it looks like the Messenger icon on your site is being covered up by the WhatsApp icon. You could try changing the position of the icon in the setup flow?

Hi @cimplicity,
I’ve opened up both the URLs you shared, and the Chat plugin loaded successfully on both. Looks all good here!
I’ll mark this as resolved, but let us know if you’re still experiencing any issues.
Thanks!

Hi @delunaahl,
It looks like the plugin is not loading at all, because the FB Page it is connected to is unpublished. If the FB Page is not accessible to the user, the plugin will not load either. You can publish your Page via the Page settings panel.
Hope this clarifies things!

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Home page onlyHi @aggelospao13,
The ability to choose which pages to deploy the plugin to will be included in the next version, for release very soon!

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Plugin not workingNo luck I’m afraid, it’s still hanging and timing out when I try.
You would need to have the plugin active, if we’re to try and assist to debug, yes.
However, as the site doesn’t not appear to be loading for me at the moment, there’s not much I’m able to do…

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Plugin not workingHi @sponzo,
Are you located within Europe? It may be that you’re affected by European data privacy rules which prevent some functions being able to be performed over Messenger. For more information, please see: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/messenger-platform/europe-japan-updates
Hope this helps,

Hi @geoapos,
Thanks for the feedback. The Chat plugin is optimised for mobile, and as we aim for cross-platform feature parity, we wouldn’t actually support disabling it on a per-platform basis. It wouldn’t be the best experience for a user to open an interaction via a desktop interface, and then be unable to access the same functionality on a mobile device. They might perceive that something was broken!
Hope this clarifies,

In reply to: [Facebook Chat Plugin - Live Chat Plugin for WordPress] Not openingHi @davincicodeest,
This could be due to interference from another script running on the page. Have you tried disabling the other scripts temporarily, to determine how and by what the plugin is being affected?
Thanks,

Hi @sponzo,
Thanks for sharing that URL. I was able to send a photo successfully via your Chat plugin installation. Can you confirm whether the issue is resolved for you as well?

Hi @bernard11,
If you wish to remove the Chat plugin from your website, you can simply “Deactivate” the plugin in the “Installed Plugins” section of your WordPress Admin Dashboard. This is the standard procedure for activating/deactivating WordPress plugins.
Hope this helps!

Hi @samuelng527,
It seems to look okay now when I try it on simulator. If you’re still having display issues, it’s highly likely that there are other CSS rules which are interfering with the plugin’s display. Best way to debug this is to deploy the plugin on a blank page (with no scripts or stylesheets), and gradually add back all the stylesheets/rules one-by-one, to determine which one is causing the interference.
Hope this helps!
