When a plugin isn’t updated for 15 months, it means it’s dead. Time to move on.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Is W3TC defunct? No longer updated? That’s hard to believe. There were same promises back in March and April.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Is W3TC defunct? No longer updated? There’s not much choice available. With W3TC dead, your pretty much only option left is WP Super Cache.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] When Will A New Version of W3 Total Cache Be AvalibleDon’t think so. “The next update is planned for early March” – does it seem like today is the early March to you?

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] When Will A New Version of W3 Total Cache Be AvalibleProbably not any time soon. Look at the development log: http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/log/w3-total-cache/ – not a single update in the last 7 months.
And when is that next release? It’s been more than 7 months since the last release.

In reply to: [Digg Digg] [Plugin: Digg Digg] Conflict with YooTheme widgetkitHi LeoWid,
The screenshot won’t help because there won’t be anything there. As I said, when diggdigg plugin is activated, widgetkit slideshow widget just disappears from page html code. Here’s my environment information for you to help with repro:
Theme (free): http://www.semiologic.com/software/sem-reloaded/
Activated plugins: Akismet, AmazonSimpleAdmin, Category Posts in Custom Menu, Fast Secure Contact Form, Google Analytics for WordPress, SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2, Simple URLs, W3 Total Cache, Widgetkit, WordPress SEO.
Repro: In widgetkit create a simple slideshow and add the shortcode to the home page. Without diggdigg the slideshow is visible and is working. With diggdigg, there’s no slideshow code in the html.I understand that there’s possibility that one of these plugins participates in the conflict, but without diggdigg everything works just fine, so diggdigg must have triggered something which causes widgetkit to stop working.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Compatibility with WP MultisiteKingdomGeek is right, W3TC only works with the most recent site. All other sites in the network see that .htaccess doesn’t match what they want to see there and they disable browser caching.
DJosephDesign, look carefully – W3TC writes domain-specific information into .htaccess file, so it just can’t work in multisite install by design.
It is not maintained. The current version is half a year old, has tons of bugs and there is not even a single bug fix in the last 6 months. Looks dead to me.
Yes, it looks like this plugin is become obsolete and unmaintained. Too many bug reports and too much ignorance from the developers.

In reply to: [Mute Screamer] [Plugin: Mute Screamer] WMPU compatibility? Please add support for multisite installs. This is a great plugin, but I can’t use it because I host all my blogs in WPMU environment.
