Excellent, glad to hear it’s all resolved!
Thanks for the review! Hope Charitable continues to be valuable for your cause 🙂
Cheers,
EricHi codebloo,
Charitable does use the
notify_urlparameter. In your Instant Payment Notification (IPN) history, can you see which URL the IPN was sent to for this donation?Cheers,
EricHi codebloo,
In PayPal, has the donation been marked off as paid?
Charitable does rely on the IPN to update the status of payments. If you log into PayPal and go to Profile > Profile and Settings > Selling Tools and click Update for Instant Payment Notifications, what are the settings you see (after clicking Choose IPN Settings)?
Cheers,
EricThis can be changed by turning Test Mode off. Go to Charitable > Settings > Payment Gateways to switch this off.

EricHi rameesareno,
Glad you’re liking the plugin! Our Charitable Ambassadors extension allows you to have people add and edit their own campaigns via the frontend of the site.

EricMe again (another profile). Just wanted to post back with a screenshot of the Query Monitor output:

EricHi Guido,
So sorry about this. I have been able to reproduce the bug and will make sure we push out a fix asap.

EricHi dekoff,
I suspect that you may have another plugin activated that also uses the WP_Session class. To troubleshoot this issue, could you try disabling all plugins, then re-enable them until the problem reappears?
Cheers,
EricHi Hugo,
I see you have already suggested a whole bunch of translations. Great work! I just put through the request to have you added as a Spanish translation editor for Charitable: https://make.wordpress.org/polyglots/2016/03/30/hello-polyglots-i-have-another-translation-editor-id-2/
Once you have been added as an editor, you can make translations directly without needing to suggest them first. You will also be able to approve other translators’ suggested translations. And you can also import translations from a .po file; for example, you could use a program like poedit (https://poedit.net/) to create translations and then import your translation.
Cheers,
EricHi Hugo,
It would be awesome if you could help out with the Spanish translation! The translation project for Charitable is at https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/charitable, and you can suggest translations there. If you’re interested in joining as a translation editor, let me know which Spanish locale you would like to take on. We have someone else already working on the Spanish (Argentina) translation as an editor.
Cheers,
EricHi Neeraj,
I fixed a bug with the logo upload. There’s an update to Reach downloadable from https://wordpress.org/themes/download/reach.0.9.44.zip?nostats=1
Let me know if that fixes it for you.
Cheers,
EricI received your email; will follow up with you there to work on a resolution to this issue.

EricHi henk1974,
With offline donations, the email notifications are sent once the payment is marked off as Paid. If you want to send the donation receipt and/or admin notification immediately, you can use these two PHP snippets:
- Donation notification for admin – https://github.com/Charitable/library/blob/master/emails/send-donation-notification-for-pending-offline-donations.php
- Donation receipt – https://github.com/Charitable/library/blob/master/emails/send-donation-receipt-for-pending-offline-donations.php
See https://github.com/Charitable/library#how-to-use-the-code-snippets for details on how to use these snippets.
Cheers,
EricHi Neeraj,
The file upload is not coming from Charitable or Reach. Try deactivating all other plugins to see if it goes away.
With the problem with the Donate button, first see if getting rid of the file upload field solves the issue. You can also try updating to the latest version of Reach, which can be downloaded from https://www.wpcharitable.com/download-reach/
Cheers,
Eric
