I think 2000 x 1200 should be fine for the background.

In reply to: blog not showing on blog pageHi H,
Try switching to a WordPress default theme to see if the blog displays as expected. If it does, then you know this is a theme issue, so your best course of action is to get in touch with iThemes to find out what’s going on.

In reply to: Error – Uploading PicsHi adagiono1,
Since you have already tried deactivating all plugins and that didn’t have any results, try switching to one of the default WordPress themes temporarily, to see if it may be related to the theme.

EricHi Marios,
I just replied to your email, but will copy my reply here. It sounds like Charitable was not uploaded to your website correctly. Could you try deleting it and then completely re-uploading & installing it?
Regarding the error with
get_custom_campaign_meta_fields()after you add a campaign, could you get in touch with the developer of your theme to find out why this is happening? The error is not originating from Charitable and appears to be theme-related.Cheers,
EricYes, it certainly is. If you are using PayPal, then this should already work right out of the box. If you are using Offline donations and want to have the receipt sent immediately (normally it’s only sent when the donation has been marked as Paid), this code snippet will do the trick:
See https://github.com/Charitable/library#how-to-use-the-code-snippets for details on how to implement the snippet.

EricThanks for the review!

EricWeird. Would you be willing to share WordPress login details with me so I can take a look at how things are set up and test some things? If so, please get in touch via https://www.wpcharitable.com/support/
Cheers,
EricYes, the email should be triggered by that. The email is sent using a function called
wp_mail(), which is the same function used by other emails sent by WordPress. Are other emails sending? To check, try resetting your password via wp-login.php. If you don’t receive any emails, then the problem is with emails in general, not just Charitable emails.
If it is limited to the Charitable emails, try also activating the Notification email to see if that does send. Also try creating a donation using a different email address, to make sure it’s not an issue with the email address.
Cheers,
EricUnfortunately that’s not something that can be achieved easily out of the box.

EricHi Mahmud,
I just put together a little code snippet that you can use to achieve this: https://github.com/Charitable/library/blob/master/campaigns/round-percent-donated-to-whole-number.php
See https://github.com/Charitable/library#how-to-use-the-code-snippets for tips on how to implement this. The easiest approach is definitely the Code Snippets plugin.

EricI have not been able to replicate this. Which payment gateway are you using? Have you enabled both the Donation Receipt and the Donation Notification? The first goes to the donor, while the second is designed to go to the website admin.

EricHi evanover,
Great questions. Our Authorize.Net currently just supports standard payments — not PayPal Express or electronic check. We have a recurring payments plugin in development at the moment.

EricHi Barrett,
Are you still seeing the problems after deactivating Charitable? Charitable shouldn’t really be touching any other buttons, but if you can enable it temporarily I can see what the problem might be.
Cheers,
EricHi Barrett,
Charitable adds styling for the donate button, but shouldn’t affect other buttons. Could you send me a link to your site so I can take a look at what might be going on?
Cheers,
EricJust a heads-up: Charitable 1.3.2 just came out and fixes this issue. Once you’ve upgraded, you should be able to safely deactivate the code snippet you added before.
Cheers,
Eric
