In reply to: rtf or doc importActually, I just realized that I had a copy of Adobe Contribute. And with that it is possible.

In reply to: WYSIWYG for the computer-illiterateThey just came out with a new version in the alpha stage, so integration with 2.6 will be soon.
Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: WYSIWYG for the computer-illiterateIt’s on purpose. I have bbpress installed and until it can integrate with 2.6 then I’m stuck with 2.5 for now.

In reply to: WYSIWYG for the computer-illiterateActually, I realized that my editor was broken. I didn’t know that it was stuck in HTML mode even though it showed it was in visual. I found out it was because of memory limits. I configured and uploaded a php.ini file to the tinyMCE folder and it was fixed.
Even though I got no help, I’m leaving this here to help others that happen to come by.
I thank azaozz for his helpful thread. http://wordpress.org/support/topic/165449?replies=61

In reply to: Help! I can’t Post, Publish, or Save?Well, it’s been a day since I bumped this topic. But now today my post went through. It’s just like Darran said, it just went away. I hope it stays like that.
@valerie123, just give it another half day or more, it might go away. I don’t know what else could be wrong because I couldn’t fix my problem either. It just went away.

In reply to: Private pages lead to 404 errorsThat’s true… so I decided to ditch the in-built privacy settings in WordPress and installed the wp-members plugin instead.

In reply to: Help! I can’t Post, Publish, or Save?I’ll bump this since I’m having a similar problem too. When I try to publish a post it just says at the top on a white page “could not open file!”

In reply to: How to get the widgets arrange horizontallyIf you want multiple widgets without the “squeezed” look then add some padding on the left and right sides.
padding: Top Right Bottom Left
That shows you where to add the padding. So for example, to move the widgets apart you do this:
padding: 0px 10px 0px 10px
This adds padding to the left and right sides of your widgets by 10 pixels. Thus, moving them apart. This is all in your .css file. Hope this helps.

In reply to: Sidebar doesn’t want to sit in layout. Please help!I figured out my second problem. The one with the custom style sheet. I’ll post how I fixed it here just in case anyone else will need to know. What I did was create a second header file called customheader.php. Then I created a second css file called custom.css. I changed it so that the customheader.php file called custom.css. I then created a custom.php template based off of page.php, got rid of the sidebar and called my customheader.php file like this: <?php include (‘customheader.php’); ?>
It completely worked! You can check out the results in Gallery. Next stop is bbpress integration. Now if only I can figure out my problem with the sidebar not stretching. I figured out the second problem, can someone help me with the first?

In reply to: comments not workingIs the comments section missing from single.php. If so then you’ll need to add <?php comments_template(); ?>
I’m just guessing because right now I can’t see your page.

In reply to: Mandigo Theme – How to GET RID of the default calendar!?You can try to see if it’s in the sidebar.php file. If it is then just delete it out.

In reply to: Sidebar doesn’t want to sit in layout. Please help!I’m still having issues with my sidebar. While the last code did wonders to keep the sidebar in the page, now if content inside the sidebar where to grow it will stretch beyond the sidebar. I’ll need the sidebar content to stretch the sidebar just like the page content stretches the page. Does anyone have a suggestion?
