I still see the “–>” on that page below the “Previous Posts” button and above the Page number section. It does not show up in Mozilla, but only in Internet Explorer. I’ll never be able to figure out why browsers are sooo different when they all are “supposed” to follow the same guidelines.

I definately like the look and feel of the site. Can’t you use your PERMALINKS to get rid of the “/new” folder? Or maybe that was intentional:)

are you implying that people who use templates to save time don’t do any work on the templates? the templates that i have used still take a lot of work to get just right. those who use templates “as is” can set them up pretty quickly. but there is still work that goes into it. templates just save me time in designing everything from scratch.

i’ll look into the noise you speak of though:)

    Thanks REvans, those are fixed.

Yeah it is based off a template. I don’t mind using templates every once in a while. They are very reasonably priced and you can get a full site for $50. Plus the flash is already done and with some minor changes you can have a completed site within minutes. I guess I look at it that it saves me time which in a sense saves money too:)

Thank you guys so much for your insight. I am still having some issues with how my design is rendered in WP, I hate IE, but a lot of people use it, oh well:)

theillustratedlife- I totally agree with you. I started with WP after some other means of creating a database were exhausted. I now have 2 sites running WP. FoxValleyShows.com and themidwestscene.com. FVS is a site that basically uses the “guts” of WP as a database management system and TMS uses WP as it was basically intended for. Both sites work well for me and WP definately makes a lot of editing easier with its awesome Admin section.

Before I would have to manually edit pages with Dreamweaver and reupload the page. Now that wasn’t a big deal, but WP makes soo many things easier to deal with. Tons of plugins, tons of helpful people in the forums help make the difficult database management issues easy. Plus most of the people here are just good people in general.

So being a novice with database management systems, WP has made it easy:)

Thanks again for your thoughts theillustratedlife and everyone else too.

A tutorial going through some complex issues would be helpful I am sure. I am sure some one here could handle that request if one hasn’t been done already.

I’ll just go with that system for now. No biggie:)

Leofish- I like the idea of the permalinks and yes that should help with searching and search engines with their spiders.

But now WP created a “2005” folder and those images don’t show up. Short of using the “<?php bloginfo(‘stylesheet_directory’); ?>” code before all of my images, is there another way of telling the “2005” folder where the images can be found?

Leofish- Thank you for your suggestions. I’ll give those a shot.

Court- yeah i loved that design and thinks it works well for what i’m doing. it was a pain in the arse at first, but definately worth the trouble:)

Thanks guys for your thoughts. I did fix the bug in IE and added the WP thing too. Didn’t think I needed that. But I love WP so I’ll add it:)

Yes I set 1 and MOVE. Then I chose where I wanted the posts moved TO, and hit the 2nd update button. I am still not getting anything. Hmmm…

I was only asking where it was located where I could change the center alignment. I am new to designing with WP and was just looking for a point in the right direction and not a contemptuous remark.

    thanks though…

Hmm I would have thought that there would have been something in the header or something about this. Is there an easy way to set where the entire WP get aligned?
