In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Oops, there's nothing in your cartThe only issue I can think of would be a server issue with issues saving sessions. You would need to check in with your hosting support to find out if sessions are being saved properly.
Doubtful but you could also check for conflicts with other plugins by disabling all non store plugins… You might also need to check if your theme itself is causing a conflict. Switch to a wordpress default theme and clear the store template cache in the store settings.
Then test your store.

EdwardI’m dealing with the same issue. I’ve done a search and replace in the plugin files to remove where it sets the mime and content type and disabled the html option in the admin. this at least allows the emails to be delivered as clean plain text.
hope this helps

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Variable FeeYou could set the product to be a “donation” this would allow the buyer to enter a price.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Sorry, online ordering is unavailable….10 oz is more than likely not meeting the minimum weight requirements of your shipping service. Most have a minimum of 1 pound (such as USPS and UPS).
Try setting your weight to 1 pound and testing again.
If you’re still having trouble make sure your firewall is not blocking the results.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] category view not workingHave you tried rolling back to the previous version? If you were using a version prior to 3.8 the theme system changed in order to be compatible with wordpress standards going forward.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Checkout page refreshes onlyHave you tried upgrading to the latest? A new version was just released.
While testing did you still get the “no posts matched” message or was that working?
With Gold Cart disabled your products would be displayed as a list.
You can leave Gold Cart active while testing.Regards

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Checkout Quantity ProblemI don’t know why you’re “update” button is displaying as a PLUS symbol (most likely your theme is doing that). But the plus is actually an update button. SO you would enter the number of products you want in the quantity field and then click update on your site the plus symbol. You should alter your theme CSS rules to keep that button from displaying as a plus symbol.

EdwardIt’s possibly related to a conflict with a plugin or the theme.
To test for plugin or theme conflict.
1. disable all plugins other than the store plugin
2. enable a default wordpress theme such as 2013
3. go to Settings > Store > Presentation and click “Flush Theme Cache”
4. Clear your browser cacheNow test the functionality of adding an existing file.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Variant and price into dropdown listAs you have found the price is updated on the page when a variation is selected.
At this time showing the price within the menu is not a feature of the plugin. You could see if a developer could code this custom for you. I’m unsure if that would be easily done at this time.

EdwardYou should not need to enter anything in PayPal for the IPN to work properly. In some rare instances for some unknown reason due to themes that alter permlinks you may need to enter the location of your transaction results URL
Several things you can try.
1. reset your permalinks
Go to Settings > Permalinks click “Save Changes”2. Be sure your server is not blocking IPN due to firewall settings
The following link will show you all the IPs that require access to your server

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Free Domestic Shipping Only & Media MailYour first 2 questions are better suited for custom development. These aren’t features of the default USPS module. A developer could create you a custom module that would be a better solution than hacking the built in one since when you upgrade you would lose your changes.

http://getshopped.org/consultant/As for the last issue I just tested and I am able to set the Priority Mail option.
