Hi Dave
That’s correct. We have an issue open for this, so you may want to follow along there for any updates, or perhaps contribute your own solution:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/20160
Thanks!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] TranslationHi there
You can find the code for that in this file:
Having said that, it’s best to contribute translations directly via translate.wordpress.org:
https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/jetpack/stable/sl/default/
However, there is currently an issue whereby certain strings are not being translated properly, so you might want to keep an eye on that too:
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/21343Hope that helps!
Hi there
When I try to view your site currently it shows a
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAINerror and “the site can’t be reached.”That appears to be a DNS error, rather than anything related to Jetpack, so I’d suggest getting in touch with your hosting provider for help getting that resolved and getting your site back online.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] DELETE JETPAKHi there
You should be able to delete Jetpack from your dashboard via Plugins > Installed Plugins.
If that’s not possible, I’d suggest contacting your host so they can help you delete it.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack connectionHi Innes
From our end, your Jetpack connection appears to be working correctly. Are you still having trouble?
I am also having an issue with my sites Domain, I have pointed it to the correct domain as per our WAF which the site must stay within but WordPress recommends we change the domain name servers.
Can you provide any more information about this? What’s the issue you’re seeing, and what have you been told to change the nameservers to?
Hi Audrey
I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue in testing. It sounds like it could be an issue between your Facebook page and your personal profile. Can you try removing the WordPress connection from the Facebook end as described here, and try again?

Thanks.
Hi there
I tried this on a test site and I wasn’t able to reproduce the issue. The audio controls displayed fine with or without a Jetpack gallery on the page.
There may be something else installed on the site that’s causing problems. The quickest way to figure out if something is interfering is to test for a theme or plugin conflict.
I know it’s less than ideal, but could you please try the following:
– Temporarily deactivate all the site’s plugins except for Jetpack and clear your browser’s cache.
– Then test the issue again. If the audio controls show, then we’ll know that another plugin is conflicting here. You can re-enable your plugins one by one, testing in between, until you find the one causing the conflict. You can leave it disabled or reach out to the plugin developer for a fix.If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme.
– Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Twenty. Then test again. If the audio controls show, then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.
Let us know how that goes.
Hi there
We had a report of this a few years ago, but our developers were not able to reproduce it, and it hasn’t been reported since (until now).
https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/7870
I have also tested this on a brand new test site, and I’m unable to reproduce the issue, so it seems there may be something else on your site that is conflicting.

Hi there
In that case, can you ask your web host to check if the traffic from
35.188.32.9is being blocked. If not, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?
If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.
Thanks!
@thorjoh as Bob mentioned, it’s easier for us to provide efficient support if we have a separate thread for each user.
Could you please start your own thread, as per the Forum Welcome?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Lost proper jetpack linkHi there
When you push a connected staging site to a live site, the Jetpack connection gets duplicated, which causes this issue.
I’ve fixed the issue on your site, so you should see your stats and subscribers again after you reconnect.
To prevent this in future, we recommend activating Staging Mode on your staging site:
https://jetpack.com/support/staging-sites/Hope that helps!
We’ve seen a few reports of 500 errors on sites hosted with Siteground, but we have not been able to reproduce the issue so far.
In one case, Siteground were able to resolve the issue by downgrading from PHP 7.4 to 7.3, so that might be worth a try.
@jennipagano is your site also hosted with Siteground?

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Error xmlrpc.php (200)Hi there
Looking at your XMLRPC file, I can see that there is some extra code in there that shouldn’t be there. That page should only show:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.
It looks like you may have the Zend Fonts plugin installed, which has previously caused this issue on other sites.
Please try deleting that plugin to see if it resolves the issue.
If so, you can try reinstalling a fresh copy if you still need that plugin.
Hi there
Your Jetpack connection is working now, so that doesn’t appear to be the issue.
It’s hard to say why that action won’t save on your site. We’ve tried it on test sites and it saves without any issues, so there must be something else specific to your site or server that is conflicting.
You could try deactivating all other plugins on the site to rule out a conflict.
Or if that doesn’t help, or you don’t want to do that, you may want to try creating a test site with only Jetpack and WP Crontrol installed to see if that works. If so, you can then enable the same plugins and server settings as you have on your live site until you find the cause of the issue.
Hope that helps!
