In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Legacy Plugins?Hi there
Currently, some Jetpack plugins are classified as “legacy” by the latest WordPress, such as Popular Posts and Pages
Where exactly are you seeing that? Could you share a screenshot so we can see what you’re describing?
You can create screenshots using something like Snipboard or Imgur and post the link here.
I’m seeing this warning in the theme customizer “Warning: Attemp to read property “ID” on null in /home/public…./extras.php on line xx ….”
Can you share the full error message, including the line number?
Thanks
Hi there
From our end your connection is looking good now. Are you still seeing this error?

This post may help with the 404 errors:

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Add A ContactHi Alison
Yes, it’s a Jetpack feature for adding contact forms to your content as shown here:
https://jetpack.com/support/contact-form-classic-editor/If you’re not using Jetpack contact forms anywhere on your site, you can disable the Contact Form module entirely, which will also remove the Add Contact Form button.
You can disable that as explained here:
https://jetpack.com/support/control-jetpack-features-on-one-page/Hope that helps!

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Unable to install JetpackHi there
Errors like this can be caused by a memory shortage on your server.
Please review the WordPress codex on how to increase your memory limits here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
Let us know if you still have trouble after increasing the memory limit.
Hi there
I’m afraid it seems no stats were collected between Dec 11th – Jan 4th, so we don’t have any way to restore those.
Sorry I can’t be more help here.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] No stats on self-hosted siteHi there
I don’t see Jetpack’s stats tracking code in your site’s source code.
Jetpack, like many other plugins, uses a function called
wp_footer()to insert elements like a Stats tracking code to your site’s footer. This function has to be added to your theme’s footer.php file, right before the closing body tag. You can read more about it here:https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/wp_footer/
If you’ve recently edited that file, you’ll want to make sure the
wp_footer()function is still there. If it is there, you’ll want to check for other code you may have added to your theme (like in your sidebar for example) that may break everything that comes after.
Sounds good, please let us know if you continue to have trouble once that is complete.

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Jetpack: cookie check failedHi there
That error is generally caused by caching issues. Can you clear any caches you have on your site and/or check with your hosting provider if there is any server level cache that might need to be cleared, then try again?
If that doesn’t help, I’d suggest asking in the general WordPress forum since this seems to be affecting other plugins as well as Jetpack:
Sorry to hear about this. I’ve asked for some more information via your support thread to see if we can help:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/my-mobile-score-is-a-7-and-my-desktop-score-is-a-50-with-the-plugin/Hi there
Sorry to hear that Jetpack Boost hasn’t helped speed up your site.
What score do you get with and without the Boost featured activated?
i.e. deactivate all three features and refresh to see your baseline score.
Then activate all three Boost features, and refresh to see the new (hopefully higher) score.
What difference are you seeing there?
