Hi there @mipaginaenwordpress,
Since you’re not using the Gmail mailer, which mailer are you using? Additionally, do you have any other Google plugins installed on your site?
Thanks!
Hi there @metricsmule,
What I would start with is checking the Brevo logs under:
Transactional > Email > Logs
If the emails for customers are showing up, it means they made it to the Brevo service and are in their hands at that point. However, if they are not in the Brevo logs, there may be something interfering with the email before it makes it there.
What you could try next is enabling Debug Email Sending in WP Mail SMTP:
Then go through the same process a customer would so you can trigger an email to be sent. After it is sent, if it shows up in the Debug log, it means an email was attempted. If there is a problem reaching Brevo, you’ll see an error. If everything is good, you should see:
“An email request was sent.”
You can then check the Brevo logs again to see if the email is there. If it’s not there, something is likely interfering with the email on its way to Brevo.
Try checking that out and let us know how it goes. If all else fails, WP Mail SMTP can be connected to other mailer services. Check out this guide in our documentation. It walks through each mailer we support and includes the benefits of each: https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/a-complete-guide-to-wp-mail-smtp-mailers/
I hope that helps! Have a great day! 🙂
Hi @jreedpasd,
Thanks for your patience. I discussed this with our team. Make sure you’re sending the emails as plain/text emails. Additionally, our plugin does not strip out tags any tags, but your mailer service might. You can try reaching out to the mailer service, or switching the mailer service to see if that sorts the issue out.
I hope that helps! Have a great day!
Hi there @jreedpasd,
Thanks for reaching out! We’re looking into this to see if we can replicate the issue. I’ll let you know when I have more information.
In the meantime, if you have any additional questions, just let us know.
Thanks!
Hi there @ridgefieldhoajax,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear about the email issues you’re running into with GoDaddy. Are you running into any trouble setting up WP Mail SMTP to get around the problem?
In case it helps, multiple mailer services provide free email sending, including Gmail and Brevo. Check out this guide in our documentation. It walks through each mailer we support and includes the benefits of each: https://wpmailsmtp.com/docs/a-complete-guide-to-wp-mail-smtp-mailers/
I hope that helps! Have a great day! 🙂
Hi there @geykgn,
Following up on this, we’ve tried to replicate the issue but have not been able to. In our tests, the correct protocol is being implemented in both our Lite and Pro versions. When you get a moment, double check your URL settings in WordPress under Settings > General for the site and blog URL address to make sure https is added to the address.
Also, if you can let us know which report is doing this, it should help.
Thanks!
