You’re right that some of the mailer connections can be complex. Some, such as SendLayer, are easier to set up than others. If you ever decide to switch mailers, in case it helps, this guide on our site goes over each one that we support. It also provides a link to the setup guide for each mailer. Thanks for reaching out. Generally when you run into this kind of issue, it’s because another plugin is conflicting with the one you’re expecting to see in your menu. Try disabling your other plugins to see if our “Import Demo Data” option shows under the Appearance menu. If it does, turn the other plugins back on one at a time until the problem comes back. That should point out which plugin is conflicting with ours.

Based on the error, it seems that the theme’s OCDI filterÂ
ocdi/import_files code might configured incorrectly. There may be a parameter that should be a string instead of coded as an array. You may need to contact your theme author about the issue.If you can let us know which theme you’re using and possibly provide the
ocdi/import_files filter hook code, we can take a quick look to see if we can spot the problem.I hope that helps! Have a great day!

I heard back from our team about this. We had a similar case in the past with the same error, which turned out to be a server-side issue. In that case, the process was running out of RAM. Try reaching out to your host to see if they can raise your memory limit. That may get you around this issue.
