Give 1.9.13 a try :

Instructions to roll back your version :

Good luck.
Wow this is weird, seems like galleries with a picture get “no images were found”.
Galleries with multiple pages do show up.
I’ve never tried what you’re doing I will later today, I can’t now.
Maybe try re-installing 2.0.17 over itself (DO NOT UNINSTALL) and see if that helps you.
Good luck.

In reply to: [Lightbox Plus Colorbox] Lightbox plus and new NextGen 2.0.17I replied to your other post.
Maybe you didn’t look or give a try ?
No need to post the same question multiple times.
Thanx for reminding me about this, yeah I had problems with the default lightbox.
I got mine working just now how I like.
I didn’t make any changes to nggallery at all in regards to the effects.
Based on a old reply of mine, give the following a try :
Lately I’ve been recommending the following :
Now I use jQuery Lightbox (balupton edition).
http://balupton.github.com/jquery-lightbox/demo/
You’ll see the download.
After the plugin has been installed you find jQuery Lightbox in the setting section of the admin bar.
Good luck.
Have you cleared your browser cache ?
Maybe try loading the Page your trying to add by holding down the shift key. You’ll bypass your cache and load the page fresh.
Otherwise trying clearing nggallery’s cache :
Gallery->Other Options->Miscellaneous
Clear Image Cache button
Good luck.

Big thanx ! Worked perfectly !
Looks like I inadvertently gave you a useful tutorial.
I know when I first starting using nggallery this was a popular thing on people’s blog.
I’m sure people will want to know the updated method. I had a ton of code to make it work prior to the 2.x version(s).
Now if you would please put back the code to add files via URL and add a Gallery Search similar to NextGEN Gallery Search I’ll abandon the 1.9.13 version.
Truly appreciate your support. Have a great weekend.
Big thanx. I just wanted the parameters before when trying to get the header slide show working. I know I couldn’t use the short for the header.
Almost there I see [show picture list].
Anyway to remove ? I’m almost guessing now.
Here’s the code I used inside your php :
[ngg_images gallery_ids=”2″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow” gallery_width=”998″ gallery_height=”300″ cycle_interval=”6″ flash_enabled=”1″
flash_shuffle=”1″ flash_next_on_click=”1″
flash_navigation_bar=”0″ flash_loading_icon=”1″]Hope it’s possible, thanx again.

In reply to: [Photo Gallery, Sliders, Proofing and Themes - NextGEN Gallery] Short CodesBig thanx.
Which version of WordPress and nggallery are you running ?
I tried and I see the same problem.
Yeah one of the main reasons I removed.
I made the point the other day :
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/temporary-upload-solution?replies=7#post-4572046
Sometimes it’s better to upload a large zip file and use the URL to fill the gallery with hundreds of images, or UHQ images that have a large file size.
Hope they bring it back soon =(.
You can upload via FTP and goto the Gallery and click the button that says Scan folder for new images.
BUT you must make the gallery with nggallery. Or you can upload to existing galleries.
Hope that helps you out.
Good luck
Becky from photocrati gave me some good info. Try the following link :
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/temporary-upload-solution?replies=7#post-4571640Or you can go back :

Good luck.
Dashboard
Gallery->Manage Gallery
Click any Gallery.
The very first box, the button is next to the Save Changes button.
Good luck.
Sadly NextGEN Gallery Search plugin doesn’t work with the latest update.
You guys should consider implementing a Gallery search.
I have over 1,400 albums. No way to search with the stock nggallery.
Also need to be able to upload zips via URL.
So the 2.0.11 is unusable to me =(, I removed within a few minutes.
I left the Permalinks change in case you guys include what I mentioned. Doubt it’ll happen.
Dunno why you removed uploading zip files via URL =(.
Oh well hope you guys continue to improve the product.
I’ll probably be stuck with the 1.9.13 version.
Thanx for everything, have a great weekend.
Yes I changed the file.php.
Becky’s solution worked for me, changing the permalinks.
Although at the moment I my header slideshow isn’t working =(.
Big thanx !
I changed the Permalinks (which I never use), on my test server and I could upload.
OK gonna pull the trigger on my main site.
