In reply to: [PollMe] [Plugin: PollMe] Plugin not working – can't creat new pollsThe plugin isn’t designed to work with the text widget. The text widget only displays text and WordPress do not, to my knowledge, supplied a filter for the text to be altered.
I a later very a widget option my be added.
I’ll log in the the \ problem for the next release.
The comma problem is due the the way the questions are stored in the default database. The comas are converted to returns to make editing easier.
I’ll see if a better way can be introduced.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [MembersBlog] [Plugin: MembersBlog] What URL to useYou can subscribe to it because you have the login cookies set in you browser.
When google reader tries to read your site it will be asked for a username and password and fail to get the feed.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ContactMe] ContactMe is not sending emailsDo you get other emails from WordPress?
The plugin uses the standard functions for emails that WordPress uses, if it is not working it is usually a problem with the server.-D

In reply to: [PollMe] [Plugin: PollMe] Plugin not working – can't creat new pollsHi Sandra,
It sound like that configuration should work.
Is it possible for you to disable all other plugins and see if it works, its possible that another plugin is clashing with it.
There should be a new version available in a few days, so that might also fix the problem-D

In reply to: [PollMe] [Plugin: PollMe] Plugin not working – can't creat new pollsSorry for taking so long to get to this message.
Its sounds like you are doing everything correctly. There must be something unique about your system causing it to work this way.
Can you tell me, you WordPress version, our php version and your os.Regards

In reply to: [PollMe] [Plugin: PollMe] Multiple votes allowed…?Its not an option its on by default it cannot be turned off. Once you vote your cookie is set and you are taken to the chart next time you visit the poll. Unless you delete your cookies.
If people are voting more that once they are either deleting there cookies to do this or there is something different about your system causing the cookies not to work.

In reply to: [PollMe] [Plugin: PollMe] Multiple votes allowed…?There currently is a cookie method in place. You should be able to see this when you fill in the poll, if it does not seem to be working for you can you please supply more details.
Preventing multiple votes is a tricky thing, people can always clear their cookies and vote again if they are so inclined. Using the IP to register a vote is also a problem as users may share IPs and prevent others from voting.
The only sure method would be is to require them to verify there vote though email. This would work but may deter people from voting. Though the option may be introduced so you can do more serious polls.Regards

In reply to: [MembersBlog] [Plugin: MembersBlog] What URL to useSounds like you might want to use WordPress in multisite mode.

In reply to: [MembersBlog] [Plugin: MembersBlog] What URL to useNo it works with the blog too.
Feeds are read through feed readers so they need to have the username and password in the url for the reader to be able to access the feed.
In a browser you log in as normal and you can see everything.
If you are not logged in you will be forced to the login page. You have to log in manually, once as normal. The plugin just secures all pages to require you to log in.

In reply to: [MembersBlog] [Plugin: MembersBlog] What URL to useThe url does not change for viewing blog pages in a browser. Just log into WordPress then you can visit the page as normal without being forced to the login page.
You only need to add username and password to the url if you are trying to view the RSS feed from something other than a browser.
Is that clearer?

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] StatsFor contest you would also need username and email and probably an option not to display the answers.
I’ll add them to the list.
