Iโ€™ve checked my functions for the child theme, and it should be OK as Iโ€™m using the examples from the support page. I also copied the shortcode from that page too, so it should work.

Can you share what modifications you’ve made? Once we have that information, we’ll be happy to take a closer look.

Thanks for reaching out! While the file mentions Jetpack, the file itself is in the WooCommmerce plugin.

I did a quick search of their support forum and it looks like it might be a conflict with your theme – or based on the error, a conflict with Elementor Pro? Link to forum post.

If what they suggest in that thread doesn’t help, please open a new thread on their forum and they’ll be able to help you narrow down the issue.

Since this is not a Jetpack issue, but a WooCommerce one, we’ll mark this resolved.

I’ve removed any connectections not associated with your username on our end.

I will note that the Publicize connections tied to your username aren’t shared globally across all users so unless you change that setting, only your account would use those connections when you publish a new post.

Let us know if that helped. If not, I think we might reset everything, have you delete the authorization token set on each social network, then have you set up those connections again. Just let us know!

Thanks for that – but we don’t see that Jetpack is active on the staging site?

Can you also give us the URL you created the staging site from? If you didn’t disconnect Jetpack before copying to staging, that’s when the “safe mode” messages pop up. If you have Jetpack disconnected during that step, you’ll avoid that altogether.

Jetpack saves a blog ID and a token (think user name and password) in the database when you first connect that is unique to specific URL. If youโ€™re cloning a live, active, connected site to a new site, then the new site is trying to interact with WordPress.com using the original siteโ€™s information. This can cause a whole slew of issues – one of which is the safe mode notice.

Let us know if you have any questions. Otherwise, we’ll wait to hear back from you!

can you remove all cached images and also speed up images is already turned off.

We’re unable to clear Photon cache on a domain level, only on a per-image basis.

    remove this one

I’ve purged that image file from our cache.

In terms of the concerns around cached images on our servers, I want to pause to provide a more in depth explanation of how this feature works within our system in hopes that it helps us get you what you need.

On our end, if you can give us all of the links to remove from the cache and keep Site Accelerator disabled, your images will no longer appear in our system. The only exception is if someone had saved an image URL with Site Accelerator domain OR a cached page has image URL with Site Accelerator domain prefix. If other websites are using that Site Accelerator URL, it may circumvent any cache clearing.

This also means that if you try to check to confirm if the images are removed from our system and you re-load the Site Accelerator specific URL (the one starting with i0, i1, i2), this will trigger a cache once more of the image to return. Donโ€™t re-load those URLs once we’ve confirmed the image has been purged.

You might need to rename the file itself on your site – once the original image no longer exists our cache will also be gone for good.

also, I request you to add an option for users to do this without contacting.

I’m afraid that isn’t possible. The tools to do so are on our servers, which we wouldn’t give access to outside of our organization.

    I hope that clarifies things.

@mateuszbialowas thanks for providing that reference number!

FYI: If you don’t disconnect Jetpack and/or disable the Monitor module prior to taking down the site, you will still receive these messages as the system on our end doesn’t know the difference between a site being down due to hosting problems or if it’s down because you choose to take it down.

I have removed the Monitor notification and Jetpack connection from that site. That should take care of the notices for you.

Let us know if you have any questions or need help with anything else. I’ll mark this resolved for now.

@kgharibian our forums are for helping our free Jetpack users, so there will be delays in responding to your forum post.

That URL redirects to thewanderingtattler480322079.wordpress.com which appears to be a WordPress.com hosted site, which would not be something we can help with. Are you needing to log into WordPress.com to switch your domain to your self-hosted site or update your payment method for your domain renewal?

If so, you should log into your WordPress.com account and if you need help, you can contact WordPress.com support here:

    https://wordpress.com/help/contact

Since your domain is redirecting to a WordPress.com site, that’s likely why you’re having an issue trying to log in via wp-admin. You would need to update your domain to point at your self-hosted site and that should fix the issue.

Let us know if you have any questions or need help with anything else.

@chinphotographics Can you give us the full list of URLs so we can clear the cache for those images?

If you can give us all of the links to remove the cache and keep Site Accelerator disabled, your images will no longer appear in our system. The only exception is if someone had saved an image URL with Site Accelerator domain OR a cached page has image URL with Site Accelerator domain prefix. Both of these are unlikely though!

NOTE: this means that if you try to check to confirm if the images are removed from our system and you re-load the Site Accelerator specific URL (the one starting with i0, i1, i2), this will trigger a cache once more of the image to return. Donโ€™t re-load those URLs once we’ve confirmed that we cleared the cache.

Let us know if you have any questions. Otherwise, we’ll wait to hear back from you with that list.

@fabioweb Our sharing feature is for shares, so we only offer the Facebook share button in the official buttons.

Likely the site in your example is using a different service, so if that service is another plugin, you should be able to use it on your own site instead of our sharing buttons.

    I hope that clarifies things!

@simplelife0530 – Can you let me know what site you’re having this problem? Once I have that information, I’ll be better able to help.

If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via this contact form and mention this thread.

Also, you would need to upload your image to a service like Snipboard and post the link here if you need us to take a look.

@notrereussitesepartage thanks for reaching out. I can only reply in English, so thank you for the English translation of your issue.

Spammers are always working to find new ways to get around our spam filtering. Akismet is always learning so if you come across a piece of spam that Akismet misses marking it as spam will help Akismet learn and not miss similar spam in the future.

Are you getting comment spam or some other type of spam? By default, WordPress comments should have the “mark as spam” functionality and that’s the most common vector of spam on WordPress sites. If you’re using a contact form, only certain contact form plugins have Akismet functionality.

If you can give us the post or page where you’re seeing this spam we’ll be better able to advise.

    Thanks!

@tonifairheadcreative thanks for the update. What a strange, persistent error!

At this point, we’d like to run some more tests with you on your site via email to try to figure out what’s happening.

Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread?

Once we get your message, someone will be in touch and start troubleshooting this with you. Linking to this forum post will inform the next person what we’ve tried already.

Let us know if you have any questions. Otherwise we’ll wait to get that email from you.

@lperlste thanks for getting in touch!

On that post, in the <article> div, there’s a nested <div class="content-with-socials"> section and that’s where the sharing buttons are being inserted into that linked post.

On a post that doesn’t have the sharing buttons, that div is missing, so it looks like your theme might be the problem here. Check your theme settings or post settings to see if they have different post or page templates that would indicate a “content with socials” option.

Otherwise, you can reach out to the theme developer directly to see if they can advise how to get it working on your other posts if you can’t sort out the difference.

Let us know if you have any other quesitons!
