We are releasing an update in a few hours, which includes a workaround for this problem. Please let me know if, once you upgrade to the latest version, the issue still occurs.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Question on what does the Search Terms graph meansHi,
that is correct. The chart will count the amount of page views that have keywords (search terms) associated to them.
Best,
JasonThat’s strange, and it should not be related to the geolocation issue. Can you try and clear your cache, and also check the browser console for any JS errors that might be related to the charts not showing?

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] GeoLite2 in WP SlimstatThey must have added that language in the last couple of days, as it wasn’t there initially. Who knows what that asterisk stands for? We had a preliminary conversation on what we are going to do in 2019, and are working with MaxMind to better understand what options are available to us. Worst case scenario, we will extend our premium MaxMind add-on (which now relies on their remote API) to allow users to buy their own GeoIP2 (not lite) data file and install it on their server to continue using the “City” precision level.
I hope this helps,
JasonHi Daniel,
I see what you mean, and you do have a point here. I will talk to the developer to change the language to avoid any further confusion. Thank you for letting us know!

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] GeoLite2 in WP SlimstatHi there,
we saw their announcement. However, if you read it again, you’ll notice they are not saying they will discontinue Geolite2, they will stop updating the LEGACY data file, which Slimstat doesn’t use anymore since version 4.7.
We will be discontinuing updates to the GeoLite Legacy databases as of April 1, 2018. You will still be able to download the April 2018 release until January 2, 2019. GeoLite Legacy users will need to update their integrations in order to switch to the free GeoLite2 or commercial GeoIP databases by April 2018.
I hope this helps,

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Stats Not Visible to Multisite AdminsHi,
our Network Settings premium add-on would be able to solve your problem, by setting at the network level the minimum capability needed by your users to access their own reports.
Please visit our website at http://www.wp-slimstat.com to learn more.

JasonHi all,
we are testing a workaround for this issue. According to an official statement from MaxMind, “It is true that we will occasionally block an IP if we detect an excessive number of downloads for our free GeoLite databases within a 24 hour period, and typically, waiting 24 hours before attempting another download will resolve the issue. However, there have been some known issues recently with some WordPress plugins, which seem to be causing such a high number of GeoLite download requests that Cloudflare has been blocking downloads with WordPress user agents on and off.”
If you would like to test our workaround, please contact us at http://support.wp-slimstat.com so that we can send you a link to download the beta.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Issues solved within 24 hoursThank YOU for your kind words!
Hi,
are all these sites hosted on the same server? You can use one of our hooks to change the path where Slimstat should be looking for that file. You could create a shared global folder that all your WP installs will reference. Would that work?
