    The WHOIS/location icon suddenly disappeared this morning. Haven’t done any updates or anything..

    Hi Jason,
    I am using Version 4.7.4 and I’m getting the following tracker Error:
    205 Your MaxMind data file is invalid. Please uninstall it using the button in Settings > Maintenance.

    Currently it isn’t tracking anything, just stopped all of a sudden.

    Edit:
    I’ve reinstalled it and it’s tracking again and error gone but still WHOIS/location icon is missing

    I also have this problem with my website.
    It was installed and worked perfect but recently it stopped working.
    Under settings->maintenance I only see “Install GeoLite DB” but it is installed and when I click on it it says “205 Your MaxMind data file is invalid. Please uninstall it using the button in Settings > Maintenance”. There is no “Uninstall button” though.
    I’ve tried to download a new database file and uploaded it as maxmind.mmdb, set the owner rights as described in other solution posts but nothing happends.
    Hope you solve it soon! I miss this functionality!

    Hi @doodab,

    We are releasing an update in a few hours, which includes a workaround for this problem. Please let me know if, once you upgrade to the latest version, the issue still occurs.
