In reply to: [Miteri] I hope you guys are all okay.I really hope none of you were on the plane.
Thank you, Ahmed,
That’s more or less what I thought.
My AMP menu is really different from my desktop menu because I thought the AMP menu was one long list. Now I see that the way the AMP menu works is vastly improved from a couple years ago. Or, I didn’t understand the AMP menu to begin with.
I’m going to make my two menus the same… but it will take awhile to complete.
Thank you, again 🙂

In reply to: [Montezuma] Linking AMP and Cannonical pages … ?Thank you !
I am going back and making it all match… but it’s slow going.I don’t know how it is that I didn’t understand this before…
Plus, now that I understand the relationship I can see that some of my pages need tweaking to actually fit in correctly.

In reply to: [Montezuma] Linking AMP and Cannonical pages … ?oh wait… are you saying that if my Breadcrumbs worked, then the parent thing would show in them???

In reply to: [Montezuma] Linking AMP and Cannonical pages … ?Hi 🙂
Yes, that’s the plugin I use 🙂
Early on the AMP menu was radically different. It was a list. So I tried to make my AMP menu display important things first. But now the menu does a sliding thing to show subcategories.
There are breadcrumbs on my AMP pages.
Miteri doesn’t seem to support breadcrumbs except for blogs.
I’ll take all the parent things out. I never updated them when I moved pages… I never really understood their function.
Did you happen to see the series, yes… off topic… Nirvana in Fire? It’s set in 5th Century China and quite interesting. I don’t know how historically accurate it is, but it’s got some martial arts similar to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. I watched it on NetFlix… Actually, I watched II, so I think I can find the first bit … later. The original series, I, had excellent reviews and a lot of acclaim. 🙂
Thank you so much for all your help. You Totally made my WordPress experience a good one from the start… Thank you.
Karen
It stopped doing it.

I can’t sign in to Skype anymore. I’ve tried for a couple hours to get it to work, and it just won’t send me some code it needs…
No, that didn’t work.
How am I supposed to fix this?Hi Ahmed,
I switched to Comcast for my email and forgot to update WordPress. 🙁I don’t understand.
I wasn’t having this problem before? so what suddenly changed? Where do I find “AMP Compatible Ads”???
I wonder if the problem is that In Content ads seem to no longer support Amazon ads… I’ll take that ad out and see what happens.

In reply to: Why Title Attribute Field should remain filled inSilly forum just let me fill in a reply box without being logged in, so it was lost.
I hope you see this, since I marked my question as resolved.
I now wonder if the Description box for images in the Media Library is effectively the same as Title Attribute… Do you know? And, if not, where is this information used???

In reply to: Why Title Attribute Field should remain filled inThanks, Jeffrey,
This is very interesting. I was thinking yesterday about how an image may be used to illustrate different things on different pages, so my Title Attribute could change, even the Alt Text could be different.
I didn’t realize until you wrote this, that filling in the fields for an image on a page, rather than for the image in the media library, are very different in terms of the information being retained with the image.
Thank you so much!
My understanding is that Google uses the information regularly in terms of Images and searches for them…
I used to think that Google bots picked up the caption, but apparently not. It seems as if they should.

In reply to: [Miteri] I don’t see the breadcrumbsNot to worry. As I say, breadcrumbs are working in my Mobile AMP pages.
Yes. I’ll do that. I think the link in the footer works. 🙂
