Hi Monika,
Thank you for your interest in the Pro version!
With Gift Voucher Pro, you can absolutely redeem only part of a voucher’s value during checkout. The remaining balance will be saved and can be used for future purchases, even if you checked out as a guest and do not have a user account.
How the Redeem Partial Amount feature works:
- At Checkout:
– Enter your gift voucher code in the voucher field.
– If your order total is less than the voucher value, only the amount needed will be deducted.
– The remaining balance stays on the voucher. - After Purchase:
– You can use the same voucher code again for your next order.
– The system will automatically apply the remaining balance. - Check Balance:
– You can check your voucher’s remaining balance at any time using the “Check Voucher Balance” option in the shop or on the purchase history page.
Example:
If you have a €500 voucher and use €250 for your first order, you will have €250 left. You can use the same code for your next purchase until the balance is fully used.If you need any help or want a step-by-step guide with screenshots, just let us know!
Hi Monika,
Thanks for your question.
The ability to redeem only part of a voucher and keep the remaining balance for future purchases is available in the Pro version of the plugin. On the free version, partial use with balance carry‑over isn’t supported.
You can see the Pro features and purchase it here:

Hi,
- Regarding the Warning message still displaying even though debug mode is off:
– Please add the following lines to your wp-config.php file (right after the line define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);):
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true);
– This will prevent Warning messages from appearing on your website—they will only be logged in the debug.log file. - About translating the word “Quotes” with Loco Translate:
You need to resync the language files so Loco Translate can detect new text strings. Please follow these steps:
– Go to Loco Translate > Plugins > Gift Voucher > Sync with the gift-voucher.pot file to update all the latest text strings.
– Then, select the language you want to translate (e.g., German), and click Sync again to scan for any missing strings.
– Now, the word “Quotes” and other new texts will appear for you to translate.

Hi,
To hide the Warning message, you just need to disable WordPress debug mode. This warning does not affect the plugin’s functionality.How to disable debug mode:
- Open the wp-config.php file in your website’s root directory.
- Find the line:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true); - Change it to:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
After saving, warning messages will no longer appear on your website. The plugin will continue to work normally.
If you need further assistance, you can click the blue banner at the top of the plugin’s “Settings” page to access more information and support features from the developer.
If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us!
