Hi @fdeitelhoff, I’m assuming this is the title for a post, not for the site as a whole? Or is it for your actual site?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backups slower and largerHi @grammarphobe, the warning is pretty much what it sounds like: one of your files is not readable by your account. You can always contact your host about that.
Otherwise I’m not seeing much of a problem. If you want to exclude certain folders, you can do that. My only thought about the increase is perhaps you uploaded a few large files, or something else like that. But everything seems to be backing up okay.
I’d open up one of the recent archives and see if everything is there that you want, or if folders are there that you don’t want to be there.
If you want a detailed list of folders it is backing up, you can enable debug logging in BackWPup > Settings > Logs.
I hope this helps.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Old archives are not deletedHi @mkj2, I understand your frustration. I have offered you the option of giving us temporary access so we can directly debug on your system. This is a very hard bug to investigate since it relies on having an old authentication from before the upgrade, or at least it seems so.
If you give access, this should be fixed within a day or so.
You can email support [at] backwpup.com with the information if you’d like to do this.
Hi @dialex, the timeout warning is your issue. What is your maximum script execution time set to under BackWPup > Settings > Jobs?
Hi @fotske, it was probably getting stuck somewhere in that process then—perhaps the process was taking too long.
Personally I just backup my files and the database. The XML export is just a WordPress export of all of your content. But if you have your database, it’s not really needed.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Old archives are not deletedHi @mkj2, very interesting. I will look into this further to see if there could be a good reason for that and a way to work around it. I’m glad it is working for you though.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Old archives are not deletedThanks @mkj2 for that information. That does help.
A few other questions:
1. Are all sites which aren’t working properly on the same host/server?
2. Is your inc/class-destination-dropbox.php exactly the same as the one found here? https://github.com/inpsyde/backwpup/blob/master/inc/class-destination-dropbox.phpHey @fotske,
Yes, BackWPup is perfectly compatible with PHP 7.
Okay there are a few options:First, you could generate a debug log and post that, or send it to us. Set logging level to debug (not translated), at BackWPup > Settings > Logs. Rerun the job and send the resulting log.
Or secondly, and probably faster, create a user with the BackWPup Admin role, and email that to us at support [at] backwpup.com. Then we can investigate directly for you and try to find the culprit. We may possibly require FTP access too, depending on the complexity of the issue.
Or else, again you can play around with the max execution time setting to see if you get it to work.
I’m going to close this now as I believe it was fixed. Let us know if you have any other questions.
@mkj2 are you still having this issue? I unfortunately cannot proceed further without a log.
