unable to complete + dropbox issue

    Hi there,
    I have been trying to use Backwpup but never been able to complete a full backup.
    1) When I do just DB it’s fine – but it doesn’t back up to Dropbox – there are no files in my dropbox account. authentication should be ok.
    2) When i try DB plus files the script always stops and resumes after 5 mins. The plugin says I have 500+files to backup.
    I want to do some updates urgently but not without doing a backup first!

    Hi @iriad, you need to set the Maximum Script Execution Time setting to about 25 seconds, under BackWPup > Settings > Jobs.

    As far as the Dropbox issue, are you getting any errors in the log?

    Hi Brandon,
    I had already tried setting the max script ET to 25 as that’s what I found in the FAQ section but still doesn’t work.

    Re dropbox: ok so for every job I need to do a separate authentication. Did that for the DB only backup too, and now it did save a file in Dropbox but still got this message in the log: WARNING: Job finished with warnings in 370 seconds. Please resolve them for correct execution.

    I tried running it again with the tips I was sent and got 4 warnings, didn’t finish. I sent in my log.
