@eigenstil I’m very sorry about the late reply. Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, can you let me know what might have changed when the issue started happening?
@terry789, I just tested this on an https site, and it worked fine for me. Are you still having the same issue?
Hi @gillespieza, are you still getting these notices? Would it be possible to send us a more complete log, so we can see where this is happening? You can see how to do that here.
Hi @trang250393, are you still experiencing this error? Usually this indicates BackWPup is unable to connect to your wp-cron.php. Do you have it password protected?
Hi @triplebit, are you still experiencing this issue? I’d be happy to help you resolve it if so.
@davidus16 I just want to make sure this is resolved for you. Are you still experiencing this issue?
@ale5000 Thank you. We will definitely fix this bug and we appreciate your help.
Thanks. It was received.
You’re on the forum for the BackWPup plugin, and I’m not sure that your issue is relevant here. You may want to check out the main WordPress forums.
@hike734 See this link for how to send in a debug log file: http://docs.backwpup.com/article/48-sending-in-log-files-for-the-support
@djandyj I’d do the same thing. Let’s start with the log and see if we need more after that.
I’ll be sure to handle the ticket. I suspect more information will be needed but it’ll be a good place to start. 🙂
guybblue, @hike734, and others experiencing this issue, are you still getting this error? I’m working on debugging this.
Can you tell me which PHP version you’re working on? Any changes that might have taken place around the time this error started? Any other useful information would be appreciated.
@ale5000 I think that link expired, as it is not working for me. Would you mind re-sharing?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] What selectIt’s actually not to do with your DB backup settings at all. In The appropriate setting is under BackWPup -> Settings -> Jobs. You’ll want to change the maximum execution time setting.
See this link for more information: http://docs.backwpup.com/article/157-job-restarts-due-to-inactivity-for-more-than-5-minutes
@silverlightwp Can you try running the job again and see if it still works? It may have just been a temporary issue.
Same for any others who were having this issue. Are you still experiencing it?

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup Database does not workThanks. We’re well aware of the issue and once again, will be changing the way database backups are done so that binary data is encoded as hexadecimal. That should solve your problem once released.

In reply to: [BackWPup – WordPress Backup & Restore Plugin] Backup Database does not workHi @wordpress2075. I believe I was helping you with this issue in the support forum. The files are indeed in UTF8, but depending on the software you use to import, sometimes the special characters can become corrupted. We are planning on encoding all binary data as hex values for MySQL, and that should fix your issue.
