In reply to: My Theme v2 (marcnjami.com)interknox – I had to write the code myself, but it was pretty simple after I figured it out. I started a thread here a while back: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/31209 and you can read about some of the challenges I had there. 🙂
Since I have spent so much time as of late supporting users of our gallery2 | wordpress plugin I have not had the time needed to fix up my theme and make it ready for release. Now that K2 is out I want to borrow some sweetness from K2 and encorporate it into my theme… 🙂

In reply to: WordPress & Gallery2 | WPG2 PluginWell, it really depends on what you have changed. Since it looks like you have Kubrick the wp stuff should be easy. The G2 upgrade path has been smooth for me. If you do it via CVS then yes it is pretty painless. If it is a dev snap then you need to make sure to backup some files before you upgrade. I’ve found the new G2 theme system to be much better and the overall speed is improved as well. It’s really up you as i’m not privy to your last upgrade experience. 🙂
You can also post questions on the boards as well, we are happy to help!

In reply to: Best Gallery Scripts For WordPress 1.5.1.3Or you might take a peek here: http://wpg2.ozgreg.com/. While we don’t have a fancy image browser connected to wordpress for adding images in a “my grandma can do it” way yet, one is in the works. Other than that we have fully integrated Gallery2 and WordPress and the code is stable and easy to use

In reply to: My Theme v2 (marcnjami.com)Awsome… Thanks for the peek! I got to check of my site yesterday on a Mac using IE 5.2 yesterday. 85% of the site looked as it should, but the header images wouldn’t show, and my wpg2 embedded gallery was all funky. Instead of displaying in nice pretty rows they were in a single column that made lots of scrolling necessary. Since only about 1% of everyone that has even hit my site uses IE 5.2, I’m not to worried about it, but perfection sure would be nice. 🙂

In reply to: My Theme v2 (marcnjami.com)Good point… and thanks for the look see. More eyes help on the little things. 🙂 I have taken your advice (at least partially) and changed the archive link. I kept the other one simply cause my odd sense of humor is entertained by the”?” lol… That is also the <?php bloginfo(‘name’); ?> tag since it isn’t in the header anywhere.

In reply to: My Theme v2 (marcnjami.com)Thanks… 🙂 Once I get the above mentioned items in place and clean it all up, I hope to release it for public consumption. Hopefully I can get some more feedback and user comments first…

In reply to: WordPress & Gallery2Oh and if that doesn’t work (it should sinces it’s not a sub-album) we will fix it in the next release cycle. After a little parusing of our forums I found this: http://wpg2.ozgreg.com/viewtopic.php?t=85
Which means we know about it and will fix it up proper. 🙂

In reply to: WordPress & Gallery2no worries… 🙂 Try removing the leading slash… The docs need a little tweaking and it’s on my list for the week. (got some template revisions as well)
Instead of this: <wpg2>/parishioners/</wpg2>
Try this: <wpg2>parishioners/</wpg2>Let me know. And your site is looking much better btw!

In reply to: WordPress Gallery 2 PluginAhhh… That should be an easy mod to our template, because all we use is a little bit of javascript for the popup. You could just move the js from the single template to the album template and walla!
This however will not be in this next release, because we are trying to fine tune and clean up the functionality we have already. It might be a good option to build in going forward, and this will be put on our “features request” list.. 🙂

In reply to: Popularity Contest Plugin (beta 3)Alex,
Just a quick question, is it possibile to list the most popular categories in addition to the most popular posts? I could see this being quite handy for those folks that have a truckload of categories and want to direct their users to the cats that get the most traffic.
