In reply to: Valign and other Table FormattingDoes this go in the CSS? I have created a form with various <input fields> and, although it looks fine in the FrontPage preview, when I view it on the client WP site, the row height is all screwed up. I have tried every HTML code I can think of on the page itself, but nothing works. Doesn’t WP recognize basic HTML like valign=right or rowheight?
Appreciate any help. I am stumped.

In reply to: 2.5 – How to insert images in posts/pages?The reference post above states that this will be fixed in 2.6.1, so I assume the problems I am having with image placement in a post is what will be solved. Am I better to wait for this fix or try to add the additional image code from this same post into my CSS. I am new to WP and don’t want to screw up my site.

In reply to: How to add pics @ categoriesDoes anyone have any info on adding pictures to posts in this theme? I followed the specific instructions, but my photo ends up orphaned above the text. The left and right and text wrapping settings do not work. Thanks.

In reply to: Adding Images – can only use media upload now?I am getting the exact same thing. None of the formatting I have specified works, and the image just sits on top of the paragraph I was trying to insert it into.

In reply to: 2.5 – How to insert images in posts/pages?Followed the instructions to the letter to add an image to a post, but when I published it, none of my formatting worked, such as “left” and so on. The photo sits all alone above the paragraph I intended it to be part of.
I am using a StudioPress theme. Could this be part of the problem?
Strangely it also screwed up the font on the post, enlarging the font on the paragraph with the image. I checked the HTML and there was no extra code shown. I had to delete everything and go back to the original post to get it back correctly.

In reply to: Categories in Front Page…. confusedI know I am not supposed to say I am new to WordPress, but I am – brand new. We’ve added a blog to our site (www.helloboquete.com) using WordPress, but we cannot find out how to display our categories in the left sidebar. We have researched it now for hours and can’t find any info at all. Everything we try fails. Truly appreciate someone “in the know” steering us in the right direction.
We are also worried, now that we FINALLY got our flash menu working on the page, what will happen if we upgrade the version? We will lose everything we worked so hard to get?
Thanks.
