In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] Permission Denied?I’m pretty certain that it is considering my administrator account as a Guest account.
Scenario 1 (FAIL):
– I’m logged in as administrator.
– Guest Posting is not permitted.
– Administrator Posting is permitted.
Problem: Cannot post as administrator.Scenario 2 (SUCCEED):
– I’m logged in as administrator.
– Guest Posting is enabled.
– Administrator Posting is permitted.
I can now post a new topic. It posts it as my administrator login username, not as guest.I do not wish to allow my guests to post topics.

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] v1.0.3I’ve actually completely uninstalled this plugin and reinstalled it.
Now I’ve gone ahead and recreated some test forums. I can now access the index and access the Forum as well. But now when I click ‘Create Topic’ I get a permissions error:
You do not have the required permissions to create topics in this forum!

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] v1.0.3It actually exists in wp_usermeta (I actually use a different prefix, so it uses MYPREFIX_usermeta) which may be what is causing the issue. Can you alter your plugin to utilize the prefix in the configuration file? Or maybe its because my table name is different than yours (possibly because of the Multi Site installation?)

I am still receiving the error:
You do not have the required permissions to access this forum!
when attempting to access my forums using an administrator account on MultiSites. The index shows up fine, but cannot access any forums.

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] Theme CompatibilityThat works well. Is there a way you can detect if a theme requires more elements to finish the layout?
Anyways, for this theme, that resolves the issue. Thanks.

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] Theme CompatibilityOkay Sorry. I need to be more specific in clarifying my issue here. It’s removing the borders from the wordpress theme, not the borders from the forum. In other words, the forum is expanding from left to right and to the bottom enough to where it is actually covering that styled layer. I’ll go ahead and enable the theme on the current site you are looking at for my other issue.
There is an option under Settings > WPBB Settings > “Allow Guests to View Forum”
which should be enabled by default.

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] Permission Denied?codebycarter, I have re-enabled wpBB on my website. I will e-mail you your username and password along with my site’s login page. This problem still persists, and there are no conflicting plugins. However, my site is on a MultiSite Network

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] Theme CompatibilityIt wasn’t a color issue. I’ll take a screenshot a little later to indicate exactly what I was talking about. Basically, though, that theme has a styled layer with a border for the content. When I visit the forums page with wpBB installed, it removes the border on the left, right, and bottom, but keeps the top border intact. On all other pages using that theme the translucent background and borders of that layer are all intact.

In reply to: [WP Bulletin Board] [Plugin: WP Bulletin Board] Permission Denied? Thanks for the response. I am aware that I do not need to make modifications to the code for proper permission configuration, however I could not access the created forums with my administrator account nor while logged out. If you could look further into this issue I’d greatly appreciate it. I currently do not consider the case as resolved if it doesn’t support Multi-Sites, but it seems as if Angela(empire592149) is having the same issue without using Multi-Sites.
