In reply to: [WooCommerce] order review background? showing light color on load/reloadThank you for pushing me in this direction… I was able to take a quick screenshot when reloading the page which showed me that the blockUI blockOverlay was what was creating this result.
I think you could have mentioned that as well though 😉
I solved it by adding some css like this
/* Customize the blockUI overlay */Â
.blockUI.blockOverlay {Â
background-color: own-color-here !important; /* background */Â
z-index:Â 1000Â !important;Â /* Ensure it stays on top */Â

In reply to: [WooCommerce] An important update is required for WooCommerceI understand the action, but it would be way better serving the whole community by releasing another update that has the hot-fix so everyone will benefit as most/many will have the same issue and not know about it or won’t be able to follow this route.
Really hard to understand why a product like Woo has this attitude.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] An important update is required for WooCommerce@omarfpg my database and woo version are the same 8.9.3 so that is not the issue

In reply to: [WooCommerce] An important update is required for WooCommerceI get your message, but it should be part of the update script. I think it is more than fair to expect the Woo devs to have this as part of the update process.
Just acknowledge that this was not done correct and it will be fixed in a new update and that’s it

In reply to: [WooCommerce] An important update is required for WooCommerceI have the same issue on woo sites… another miss, just like the one when setting up woo forcing you to accept all steps otherwise setup is never set to completed.
Woo is updated on all installs and the message stays active. So Woo, please get you act together, take responsibility and fix these issues.
Do not recommend disabling the plugin on a live site, that’s the worst possible advise I have ever heard.
Thank you

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce 8.4.0 not finishing setupThank you for getting back to me.
I understand this but it is simply not a good practice. If there are required steps that should be clear and optional steps e.g. the marketing should be just that.
Then a user should be able to finish the setup process.
Even when you set it to “hide” in the top right you will keep seeing “finish setup” which simply is not good.My suggestion would be to pass this to the devs and let them create a solution.
Thanks

In reply to: [WooCommerce] WooCommerce 8.4.0 not finishing setupHi @carolm29
Sure here is the message I see (top right says “finish setup) https://s3.amazonaws.com/i.snag.gy/RylQWX.jpg
When selecting dashboard: https://i.snipboard.io/o30dcy.jpg showing marketing tools need to be addedThis shows on Woocommerce > home https://s3.amazonaws.com/i.snag.gy/raIxiX.jpg step 5 needs to be completed
And then you can choose from these options none of which we want/need https://s3.amazonaws.com/i.snag.gy/SYxWCA.jpg
For payments it was the same issue and although we only need offline payment method COD we were forced to select at least bank payments as well as offline method otherwise step 3 also would not be able to complete
This whole setup procedure is the worst ever to be honest. You can hide the config, but that does not solve it (it does not complete setup) – it should be optional in my opinion
So my question: how to finish setup and get rid of that notification without needing to set step 5 (and be able to only choose the option needed in step 3)Thank you

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Pre-sales questionThanks Rogier,
Obviously I won’t be a client if I could not get a reply on #2
Can I have a multisite which would include a .nl and .com site and have a plugin for each one?

also I heard it writes meta fields throughout your database. I had also heard the it was quite resource heavy (on memory I think) ?? Any clearance on that?
Thanks heaps 🙂

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Wishlist] wishlist pathThanks!
W3 Total Cache is not my product of choice so i won’t consider that. I use a paid version of WP rocket for multiple sites and it works great… it’s really super fast.
Anyway… you got a new member 😉

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Wishlist] wishlist path1 extra question though… is it also compatible with caching plugin (we use wprocket)

In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Wishlist] wishlist pathHi
Thank you very much…
1) saving permalinks again did the trick 😉
2) of course you may, but it is dev mode at the moment so not connected to any dns… mot that does not matter, the fact that you can help me with this is enough for me to buy the membership package at Yithemes because i need some more plugins… i just tried this free one to see if it would work 😉
If you don’t mind i’ll post the request through support once i purchased the membership?
3) Great!
Hi Brian
I’m using Plesk’s (12) backup Manager
