In reply to: Publish ProblemIs there something else that can override that box? I have mone unchecked and it still pingbacks. Yes I know the difference. strange others can’t get it to work and I cannot get it to stop.
I have a similar problem with hangs, but only once in a while. But when it happens it posts 4 times.

In reply to: will someone help me upload 1.5 themeSee the fantastico post.
Just use an ftp program and go point it to the ftp host IP you will have access to all the files on your sever. Then just upload the themes into your theme folder in wp-contents. fantastico does not do anythiing different. it installed it in the root public directory.
I use this free program.

In reply to: WYSIWYG editorIt is not worth it to have bloated code. I will go back to stock and suffer. I will not ever complain again. Thanks Lorelle.
Also thank you Macmanx for helping.

In reply to: WYSIWYG editorWell, the plug-in does do what I want it to do, and it handles link code properly. It like the WP editor. However it added all this extra code to the post.
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'times new roman'; mso-ansi-language: en-us; mso-fareast-language: en-us; mso-bidi-language: ar-sa">Another <a href="http://rightwingnuthouse.com/archives/2005/04/18/founding-brother/">excellent article</a> about Paul Revere on the <a href="http://rightwingnuthouse.com/">Right Wing Nut House</a>:</span></p>
<span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'times new roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'times new roman'; mso-ansi-language: en-us; mso-fareast-language: en-us; mso-bidi-language: ar-sa"><br />Which I do not like at all.

In reply to: WYSIWYG editorIt works in word. in other words if it is already an ebedded hyperlink that I am copying from another webpage, or word, then paste it in the write window, it reverts to plain text. So then i have to highlight it clink link, go to properties of the hyperlink, copy the link from there and then paste it into the link box. When I copy it to word it keeps the hyperlink information. that is what I would like the write editor to do as well.
Having this feature would make everyone’s life easier.
