In reply to: [WooCommerce] Any nice examples with Canvas theme?Hi Renegadesk
I’ve taken a look at the sites you’ve built using the Canvas framework and I think they’re superb!
Do you have any more you can show us?
I’m a designer myself and I’m in the process of figuring out how to create totally unique sites designs based on the Canvas framework, instead of relying modifying existing theme design, or just adjusting the themes built in settings.
When you showed us what’s possible with your examples it really inspired me.
Can you show us any more themes you’ve designed based on the Canvas framework?
Many thanks!

In reply to: [OptinPop] [Plugin: OptinPop] Plugin not showing on pageHi Piotr – thanks for your message about OptinPop not working. What was the problem exactly? unfortunately you didn’t say.
There are known issue of compatibility problems with poorly coded plugins and themes that use the JQuery library as I’ve mentioned before.
If you’ve got a free plugin or theme that’s uses JQuery is still in beta or a very low version number it’s likely that’s the cause.
Our code has been extensively tested and complies fully with WordPress standards.
All the best!

In reply to: [OptinPop] [Plugin: OptinPop] Plugin not showing on pageHi D
The problem with the plugin not working from WordPress.org has now been fixed.
Everything should be working fine.
Just remove the plugin you’re using right now and re-install from the one you can download from here.

In reply to: [OptinPop] [Plugin: OptinPop] Plugin not showing on pageI’m very glad to hear you have it working now.
We’ll see if it’s possible to remove all settings when uninstalling the plugin in the next version of the plugin.
So far this is the only issue I’ve heard of where it would be helpful.
If there’s anything else you need please just let me know.
All the best!

In reply to: [OptinPop] [Plugin: OptinPop] Plugin not showing on pageHi abhis2.0 – I.E. 7 is one of the buggiest most least secure browsers ever created so I’m not surprised it’s not working.
All I can suggest is try using a newer browser.
Sorry I can’t be of more help.

In reply to: [OptinPop] [Plugin: OptinPop] Plugin not showing on pageHi abhis2.0 – Are you using the most recent version of WordPress? It’s critical that you’re using version 3.0+
Because OptinPop uses the jQuery Library it’s very sensitive to other plugins and themes that use it in an incorrect way or aren’t coded that well.
Also OptinPop places it’s code within the footer section of a blog so if a theme doesn’t load this section the popup won’t load.
Some themes don’t load the footer section amazingly enough so no footer actions are triggered.
I have a 7 point troubleshooting guide here that might help you…

In reply to: [OptinPop] [Plugin: OptinPop] Plugin not showing on pageHi Steve,
Just to let you know I’ll be adding the OptinPop upgrade to version 4.0 to the WordPress plugin repository over the next week. All installation issues from that source will be fixed.
When you get the upgrade from here: http://bigsellingoptins.com/optinpop/
…everything will install without any issues.
Many thanks!

In reply to: Plugin not appearing in WordPress Extend directoryHi Logan, thanks for your message about this, I’m hoping our zip file will correct itself based on your own experience.
Cheers!

In reply to: Plugin not appearing in WordPress Extend directoryWe now have the plugin appearing in the Plugin Directory. It was simply a matter of adding the files to a version folder in the “tags” directory.
You can see here that all the files are there…
http://svn.wp-plugins.org/optinpop-unblockable-popup-windows/tags/2.1/
However…
When I download the plugin and open the zip file only an image file is found within the zip.
This is what was in that directory before it was deleted and replaced with the files you now see in the directory above.
None of the files in the tags/2.1 directory are to be found.
It seems like something was not updated.
Yet when I download the development version the zip file contains all the correct files.
There must be something I’ve missed here?
How can I get the directory above indexed and turned into a new zip file containing all the right files?
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks!
Brian
