Hi Chiara,
The rest of the images, in the slider appearing on the desktop theme are added using functionality that is custom to the desktop theme. WPtouch loads its own theme so it can’t ‘see’ what is inside the desktop theme.
With WPtouch Pro’s support for child themes, support for desktop themes’ custom page templates and other custom functionality. The best way to find out if WPtouch Pro will work on your setup is to give it a try. We offer a 14-day refund guarantee. If we can’t resolve the issue, we’ll gladly process a refund in full for you. We just ask for the opportunity to assist.

WPtouch SupportHi,
If you don’t see it on the list of plugins when they are all selected by clicking on the “All” link in the Plugins page, then you may need to manually remove the wptouch folder from the /wp-content/plugins folder. You can delete it that way, and your settings will remain safe.
You’ll then be able to re-install the plugin.

WPtouch SupportHi,
You can still do this in WPtouch and WPtouch Pro. First, make sure “Use menu icons” is enabled in Settings > Menu Settings. Then, go to the WordPress Menu settings and assign a menu to “WPtouch: Header Menu”.
To assign a custom icon, simply expand any menu item. You’ll see a “Change Icon” button. Click on it and select the icon you would like to assign to the menu item.
You can install additional icon sets or upload custom icons in WPtouch’s Menu Settings.

WPtouch SupportHi,
I’m sorry you felt deceived. It is not what we want any customers to feel when they purchase WPtouch Pro. We always make it clear that the license is good for one full year from the date of purchase.
It is on the pricing page, and indicates:
“Support and product updates for every theme and extension you own will be provided to each activated site for 1 full year.”
It is also on the checkout page and reads:
“Every new license (or renewal) includes 365 days of product updates, fixes and support.”
It is never our goal to deceive. Our goal is to provide products and services that our customers and their website visitors will enjoy. If you have any other questions, you may contact us directly at hello@wptouch.com or submit a ticket at http://support.wptouch.com and we’ll be happy to further assist.
In addition, even if you decide to not renew after one year, your website(s) running WPtouch Pro will continue to work as normal. You just won’t have access to future updates and support.

Emilio Rivera

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Is ver. 4.3.3 stable?Totally understand the stress there— version 4.3.3 should be fine for you. The issues were to do with OLDER versions of PHP (like 5.2) which we weren’t writing for— it turns out quite a few users are still using those older versions of php on their servers, and we prefer to try and accommodate everyone so we re-wrote some code to do that.
I’m including some screenshots of what we currently see. Can you provide some of the issue you describe?

WPtouch SupportHi Anthea,
However, the slider doesnt work at all, nor does the menu .. Occasionally also the colours go in disarray
Checking on an iPhone, I don’t see the issues you describe. Below are a few links of what I see from our end.
I cant link the posts without performing a search.
The posts are linked from the “A-highlights” link in the menu. If you want to display the blog post listings as the mobile homepage, you can set the A-highlights page as the “Mobile front page” in WPtouch’s Settings > General > Landing Pages settings.
Now my adsense has conked out on the mobile.. whats happening..
Adsense seems to be displaying (refer to 3rd screenshot) in WPtouch. However, the banner (468×60) is larger than the display area of most mobile devices, so it looks like its ‘breaking’ out of the display area. The ad unit seems to be added inline with the content. To add a different ad, when ads are added directly to the content, in WPtouch, you can use the Mobile Content extension which allows you to add alternate content to the mobile theme without affecting what’s in the desktop theme.
The bundles offered for purchase are vague to my untrained mind. Please reach out and assist me. I cant just buy something I dont understand about.
You can scroll down on our pricing page and click on the link for a-la-carte pricing. That way, you can customize your bundle. I would recommend adding the Mobile Content and Multi-Ads extensions at least.
Thank you for your interest in WPtouch Pro!

WPtouch SupportHi Mindas22,
Yes, child theme support is a WPtouch Pro-only feature. You’ll be able to customize your theme, and those customizations will survive updates.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] works GreatHi ronnieiu,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention and helping make WPtouch even better. WPtouch isn’t attempting to disable the active plugins in your WordPress installation, even though visually it looks like it is in the Site Compatibility area. In a recent update to WPtouch, we show the settings available in Pro, but in a greyed-out state. We’ll address any confusion this caused in the upcoming release soon.
The plugins active in your WordPress installation should freely load in WPtouch as well. Testing it locally, social media buttons from AddToAny display in WPtouch as expected. If you’re still seeing issues on your website, please share its URL and we’ll gladly take a closer look at it.

WPtouch SupportHaven’t seen that issue elsewhere, but thanks for posting, we’ll investigate.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] works GreatNot sure what you mean— we recently decided instead of hiding everything that’s in Pro, we’d reveal it so that users could see the differences, and not have to ask us explicitly for what the differences are.
Is there something that you used to have that you can no longer use?

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Old Slider DesignHi Karner,
We appreciate the feedback. The new Bauhaus supports layouts much better, so we’ll look at adding a few different slider designs (including one that carries more of the feel of the old one) in an upcoming release.
