  • only after i paid for a license i have realized that the license will expire in 365 days.

    it is not mention on their pricing page, it says only WPTOURCH PRO LICENCE
    it is not mentioned in the card item description
    it is not mentioned in the confirmation email
    but after i paid i was surprised to find out on the admin page that the licences expire in a year time

    VERY deceptive practice !!!

    Hi,

    I’m sorry you felt deceived. It is not what we want any customers to feel when they purchase WPtouch Pro. We always make it clear that the license is good for one full year from the date of purchase.

    It is on the pricing page, and indicates:

    “Support and product updates for every theme and extension you own will be provided to each activated site for 1 full year.”

    It is also on the checkout page and reads:

    “Every new license (or renewal) includes 365 days of product updates, fixes and support.”

    It is never our goal to deceive. Our goal is to provide products and services that our customers and their website visitors will enjoy. If you have any other questions, you may contact us directly at hello@wptouch.com or submit a ticket at http://support.wptouch.com and we’ll be happy to further assist.

    In addition, even if you decide to not renew after one year, your website(s) running WPtouch Pro will continue to work as normal. You just won’t have access to future updates and support.

    funny enough, i only learned that the license is going to expire when i wanted to purchase additional add-on, you can imagine i did not…

    this is the worse kind of marketing startegy

    Hi Aircut,

    We are sorry you feel deceived, but we try to make it clear in several places throughout the purchase process that the license includes one full year of support and updates. The unedited screenshot below, shows “Every license includes a full year of updates and professional support.” at the top of the page (in your screenshot the page is scrolled down a bit), and a similar message towards the bottom of it. This text has been there, as can be verified at archive.org.
