In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Clean and stylishThanks truden! Glad you worked with us to sort things out. We’re looking at the small icons issue, it might be due to the icons being a little hefty in terms of file size.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] BROKEN!Please amend this review— we addressed your issue with an incompatible plugin for the 2.x version of WordPress in the support thread. It’s an unfair review.
This will be fixed and included in 3.1.5.
Hi there, it looks like you’ve downgraded to 1.9.42, so we can’t check some of your concerns, but here’s a try:
1. We’ve dramatically increased the size and legibility of text in WPtouch 3, so zooming text should no longer be necessary. If you have any CSS that overrides the theme’s text size you may find it useful to remove it.
2. We would need to see this in place to be able to check.
3. You can disable the display of post thumbnails via Theme Settings > General
4. We’d need to see this in action.
5. We’ll look into this.Everything’s looking good when we load your site on our mobile devices. Can you confirm whether this is still a problem?
You’ll want to aim for 88px tall and up to 420px wide. The logo gets scaled down to 44px tall but doubling it will give high-resolution displays a better-quality visual.
Can you post the URL for your site (with the featured slider enabled) so that we can see the problem?

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Problem with wordsThanks – we’re having some trouble replicating this problem locally. Just to make sure it’s not a problem with the way the browser is interpreting your content, would you please add the following before the closing </head> in /wptouch/themes/foundation/default/header.php and let us know if it solves the problem:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Links Page EmptyWe don’t currently have support for that in WPtouch – WordPress link content doesn’t tend to be particularly important to mobile site visitors – but we’ll certainly add it to the list of things users have requested for consideration down the road!
You may want to use the custom menu tools to exclude that page from display for mobile devices.
It looks like the plugin or script you’re using to display ads on your site is adding markup and CSS that conflicts with WPtouch’s layout. You can add custom styles to correct the problem via the Custom Code field in WPtouch.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Links Page EmptyHi there – are you using WordPress’ built-in Links tool or is the links page on your site built out using a custom solution?
Bauhaus is designed to have the site menu accessible via the menu button, with post content front and centre. You could likely make the menu appear on load with some JavaScript, but as it covers page content this might not be wholly desirable.
You might want to point your client toward the Simple theme in WPtouch Pro, which is designed for sites where a navigation menu needs to be presented as the first thing the visitor seems.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Plugin Not working!!If the plugin isn’t loading correctly, you might have a partially-completed upgrade. The best thing to do in that case is to completely uninstall the plugin (make sure the files are removed) and then re-install it from the WordPress repository.
If you continue to see problems after that, let us know!

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] WPTouch not workingDid you upgrade from an older version of WPtouch or was this a clean install? We’ve seen occasional issues where an upgrade has caused hiccups – typically clearing WPtouch’s settings takes care of that.
Alternatively, if you’re running a cache plugin, you might check if it is correctly configured to pass mobile requests through to WPtouch: http://www.bravenewcode.com/support/knowledgebase/optimizing-caching-plugins-for-mobile-use/.
If neither of those are applicable, please post the URL for your site and we’ll take a look.
Thanks for letting us know – next & previous should absolutely be taking excluded categories into consideration. We’ll get this bug ironed out for 3.1.5!
Ah – it looks like there’s a tiny bug in switching the colour for that particular area of the page. We’ll get a fix for this out in 3.1.5.
