In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] WPTouch not workingUnfortunately WP Super Cache’s WPtouch ‘compatibility’ function only works with version 1.x – we enhanced the way we handle device handling in WPtouch 3 and they haven’t yet caught up.
As a result, their mobile/desktop cache handling is currently broken. You may want to post in their support forums to encourage them to revise their plugin.
We’re working hard to get 3.1.5 out the door today, so you can look forward to this being fixed quite soon!
Looks like you’ve disabled the plugin – we can’t diagnose the problem without the plugin enabled, but you might want to make sure you’re running the latest version of jQuery, as that sometimes causes problems.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Show time in articleThe date format is controlled by WordPress’ Date Format field under Settings -> General. Though you can add time output there, keep in mind that time will also be output in your desktop view also.
Advertising support has been removed because we don’t think its appropriate any longer in the free version— it’s something that requires extra effort to maintain and support, so we’ve reserved it for our Pro customers.
There are lots of advertising plugins and solutions out there these days, many of which will likely work out of the box with WPtouch.
Additionally, you can always cut and paste ad code into the custom content area in the WPtouch settings, or revert to version 1.9.x if you require advertising support.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Broken!Would you mind e-mailing wordpress admin credentials and ftp credentials to business@bravenewcode.com?
There’s no way we can diagnose and solve the issues without both (for debug and evaluation of errors).
Thanks!

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] BROKEN!No, not WordPress 2.x, WPtouch Pro 2.x— sorry that was a typo.
The issue, as described in your support thread, has to do with a 3rd party plugin from mysitemyway (http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/WPtouch) which was written for WPtouch 2.x— since WPtouch Pro 3 is different in many ways in its theme structure and development, that plugin obviously needs to be updated to work with the 3,x version of WPtouch.
We suggest you contact the plugin author and let them know WPtouch has been significantly updated, and you can request that they add support for the new version.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] fatal errorThe offending plugin is this:
http://mysitemyway.com/docs/index.php/WPtouch
It apparently is offered to those mysitemyway customers using WPtouch Pro 2.x, not 3.x.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] fatal errorNo, we don’t— this is the free version of WPtouch, and that plugin/code was for an older Pro version (2.x). We updated the free version here form 1.9.x to 3.1— a generous and substantial update, for free.
We don’t have any obligation to support functionality leveraged by 3rd party plugins or services, especially considering we don’t get any revenue from the sale of those products.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Problems with imagesIt looks like you have set the image for the post as the featured image and also embedded it in your post content. Your best bet is to limit where featured images (also referred to as “post thumbnails”) are displayed in WPtouch.
If you go to Theme Settings > General and change the Post Thumbnails setting to “Blog listing only” you should be good to go.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] fatal errorPlease amend your review of the product— it wasn’t broken at all, but rather being used by you with an outdated, incompatible plugin for the 2.x pro version of WPtouch.
