In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Poor supportHi Kurt,
We definitely haven’t gone dark! Where were you trying to reach us? And what’s the issue you’re facing?
If you wish to downgrade WPtouch (or any other WordPress plugin that’s in the free repository) visit the Developers tab on the plugin page (https://wordpress.org/plugins/wptouch/developers/) and click on the previous version you’d like to download.
Thank you for the kind review!
WPtouch won’t work with Falcon Engine— since it bypasses WordPress completely in how it works. Word fence themselves acknowledge that it’s less compatible than the basic caching.
We would argue that for most WordPress websites, basic caching is all that’s required to improve page loading and performance to satisfy visitors and engines like Google.
From Wordfence’s documentation:
“In basic caching mode, pages are served by WordPress and PHP which is compatible with more environments.
Using “Falcon engine” mode, pages are served directly from your web server without executing any PHP at all.”
Hi, send an email to support@wptouch.com and we’ll help you out!
Thanks for your kind review!
Hi,
WPtouch uses its own lightweight, touch-based slider instead. You can configure it in Theme Settings -> General.
Hi!
Visual composer modifies the default WordPress publishing behaviour, and sometimes doesn’t work with WPtouch. We can’t work for all sites in all scenarios.
WPtouch Pro supports tablets in some themes, but the free version only supports smartphones currently.

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Didnt worked at all..Hi! Maybe we can help you, can you describe the issue you’re having specifically? Did you post in the WordPress forums about your issue first?
Hi,
Sounds like there might have been a javascript issue or conflict with another plugin— that;s what would cause loading more posts not to work.
WPtouch is quite stable, and works for the majority of our customers and users out of the box. Did you try posting for help in the free support forums?
WPtouch actually has built in shortcodes to do this! You can find out how to use them here: https://support.wptouch.com/support/solutions/articles/5000537506

In reply to: [WPtouch - Make your WordPress Website Mobile-Friendly] Cannot change colorsIt sounds like your desktop theme (or another plugin) may be interfering with the JavaScript used in our admin screens. If you check your browser’s web inspector you will likely see some JavaScript errors in the console.
(Temporarily) disabling the offending plugin should allow you to complete your WPtouch configuration.
@thundersbe That step is referring to Core Settings > Compatibility > WordPress Plugins.
We updated the documentation to specify that all plugins are selected in that section in WPtouch (free). Only in WPtouch Pro can they be deselected. So that step can be skipped in the free version.
You’re welcome.
Great! So sorry folks. Glad we got it fixed for you asap.
WPtouch didn’t ruin your website! I guess we don’t understand how you can give the product a 1-star review because it didn’t work for your theme the way you wanted it to.
3.8.1 is being pushed out momentarily.
