at first i tought i was drunk but on the next day it was still doubled.
But you probably were when you selected it (Biography is not selected by default in user meta menu).
Go to the Admin panel => UM => form, click on edit, locate and delete that text field.
I double checked everything and resaved the form.
You must have permission or privacy settings active somewhere. I would look again into the fields manager and closer.
I’ll say it now in layman’s terms; UM user roles are not WP user roles.
Your English is fine, it’s your context what is confusing.
Now the standard WP search gives results instead of the login page !
It also displays the member-only posts/pages in the search results (with the excerpt if swithed on) !
Only when you click on a member-only post, you get the login screen. So what are you saying here? It works if you create a copy of your site? If so, why is the search function working now? Then it would prove that is NOT a UM issue, right?
The reason why community role A changes to B is because you are accessing the same database and user roles meta are common to the entire network… That’s your answer.
I kinda knew that was what you were saying but had to make sure.
Hmmm…that’s strange indeed. Can you post a screenshot of your settings (Admin panel => Ultimate member => Settings => Advanced => Extensions => Google reCaptcha?
Yes, but you are saying that you want separate user capabilities for each user role. Again I ask, why is this a UM question?
This field will always show up in double on the profile page view
delete it…
Why is this a UM question?
Solution for what? I only read what you write which is kind of confusing. So that’s it, normal behavior is that ‘wp-search’ finds posts and pages for your visitors. If you have the UM access widget ticked to ‘logged in users’, they are redirected to login or wherever.
this is a pre-sale question and from the Ultimate Member support page there is no way to create a ticket as far as i know. Thus I created the post here…
You need to register (buy the add-on) and then login to:
https://ultimatemember.com/paid-support/Do the following:
1. enter text into search bar to see if any doc for issue.
2. List of docs will show
3. If non relevant, scroll down below the list of docs and you should see a submit a support ticket button.
4. Click this and fill in the form.PS: There seems to be no such thing as “pre-sale” questions over there and they are certainly not supposed to be answered here.
I hope this helps,

Hi, this is the support board for Ultimate Member free plugin for WordPress. For paid extensions, support is provided here:
https://ultimatemember.com/paid-support/
Thanks,
Nobody has any idea as to what kind of user capabilities you are giving to your user roles (e.g. “manager”) but if you are giving them admin powers with access to the admin panel, then what do you expect?
