I’ll look at more options for a future version.. I’ll have to check into widgets and how they work and are made to see if there is a simple way to do it. I’ll try to reply here with what I find.
2.3.6 should fix the first couple of issues where the plugin contents were not being placed inside of the styled container.
The last issue with using the Genesis framework — sounds like an issue that you may need to take up with them. I don’t have any blog running that framework so I am not able to do any debugging, and I’m not really sure how they parse that content. It sounds like when using a char limit, they are using their own functions, instead of allowing WP to handle that.
Odd.. I will look into this and see if I can get it to do the same thing.
We’ll be adding some translation capability in a future release. For now, you would need to modify the files directly, and can edit the version number to say 99.99 or something so that it will not try to auto-update.
So all of the number show 0, but you click on Approved, etc and then you can see the reviews? Odd, but I’m guessing it is some type of bug. I’m not seeing it on my end.
Are you using a multi-site setup, or anything different than a normal WP install? Once I can pinpoint it, it should be an easy fix.
Please try this again with 2.3.4 and let me know if there are still issues with it. Thank you.

In reply to: [WP Customer Reviews] How to Default Enable For PostsThis has been added as an option in 2.3.4 , please review and make sure it is working for you.
2 shortcodes have been added, that -SHOULD- work for custom post types.
1 for displaying reviews only (for use in a sidebar, homepage, etc) and 1 for displaying the current page’s reviews and the review form. The codes should be able to be placed anywhere you want on any page.
Any issues, please let me know. No styling has been done for showing reviews on any page, so for now you may need to roll your own CSS for that into your theme. An update to that may come later once everyone approves that it is working correctly for them.

This feature is planned for a future update. We will probably need to include a button for “enable for all existing posts”, and also an option to “enable by default for all future posts”. Would this work for both of you?
